Meet someone special from Sacramento, United States. First off, I'm a track and field athlete and am working towards my MS in Environmental Engineering. Between track, school, and work, I do not have a lot of free time but the time I do have I'm looking to spend with a great guy. I love to be active but I like to sit back and relax as much as the next girl. As long as I'm with family and friends, I'm good to go. I have a strong faith and I would like the man I'm involved to be strong in his faith as well. In general, I'm a pretty laid back person. My friends and family mean the world to me and I'm very big on loyalty. I'm a firm believer in the age old adage 'honesty is the best policy'. I like to think that I have a great sense of humor and I'm not one to get offensive about much. I don't sweat the small stuff, I take life as it comes and if I see something I want I'm not afraid to go for it. I seek to glorify God in all that I do and I let Him take care of the rest.
That said, I'm a traditional girl and I am a firm believer in chivalry and guys taking the initiative in relationships. Thatdoesn't mean I can't/won't take the initiative sometimes if need be but I definitely don't want to be wearing the pants in a relationship. I want a man who can lead me spiritually, mentally, and physically. I'm not into drama queens, or should i say kings, so if that's you then you're not the one for me. As far as appearance goes, its not the end all or be all for me. Personality goes a long way. If a guy can hold an interesting conversation and make me laugh (that's a big one), well then I'm more than willing to take a chance on him. I love to laugh and I want someone who can keep me on my toes.

Sitting in my quaint and humble studio apartment, the walls and shelves are lined with pictures of the beautiful faces of my family and friends, with smiles that remind me of the unconditional love, support, and encouragement they bless me with every day. The countless books, ranging from the romanticized classical fiction of Jayne Eyre, to the nitty-gritty ideas and thoughts of modern day political theorists, are only a glimpse into my passion and desire to learn and expand my understandings of the world. My growing collection of vinyl records waiting to be played- well that simply best describes my broad love for music and all things vintage. Finally, the overflowing recipe box sitting on my kitchen counter is my escape when I need to unwind by creating something delicious, or just want to enjoy a good meal with friends.
As for a little background on what I do, I'm a full time student studying International Relations while serving as a reservist in the Air Force. I am also actively involved with the youth of my church, and am discovering more everyday that my love for youth, the world, and my own community do not have to be mutually exclusive. It is my dream to unite all of these passions, and it is a dream that motivates me to set and accomplish the individual goals that will make it happen. All in all, I am a driven individual with a servant's heart and a desire to give back to the world what, I believe, the Lord has so graciously given to me. I am of course, not without my "quirks," as my friends describe them. These are typically best seen in my energetic love for adventure, the outdoors, and trying new things! I whole-heartedly believe in honesty and trust, and I respect and admire those who never compromise on these qualities.
