I once thought that the values I hold as important are part of a bygone time when questions of love and respect, honesty and loyalty were more easily answered than they are today. But, I have come to see that such qualities are found not in a particular time or place, but in the hearts of particular people who naturally draw from each other the appreciation and respect that leads to happiness and endearment.
I am an old-fashioned guy who has successfully dealt with a new-fangled world. I have worn several hats over the course of my varied career, having practiced law, designed and constructed homes and buildings, coached athletics and written books. I have done my share of skilled labor, as well, and gained an appreciation for all of it. But it is part-time to me, now. I am inclined, and have the wherewithal. to enjoy the adventurous good life. And I am looking for a woman with old-fashion ideals and a modern outlook who is happy and bright, attractive, self-sufficient and self-confident, with whom to share the experiences. Did I mention Romance? Or that my best quality is a quick wit and an ability to make you laugh?
I am a few years older than the woman I hope to attract. But I am very active physically, and regularly participate in numerous sporting activities including golf, soccer, running and hiking (I recently climbed Mt. Whitney). I travel often and hope that my partner would enjoy joining in such recreations and vacationing. I enjoy socializing with friends and have strong family ties. I remain productive and am as busy as I wish to be, continuing to write books, taking the occasional legal case, and managing some real estate.
