I have had cattle and enjoy gardening if I can keep the deer out of it. To explain the headline, "I'm too sweet for my own good", it seems that it has always gotten me in trouble because I seem to give more than I receive, which of course never works, so I'm available but far more picky about personality traits these days, so read on only if you have a very loving personality. I would like to date a simple down-home type woman, a woman who has been brought up in a loving home or who has learned how to really love a man, and if you don't fully understand what that means then you're probably not the woman for me. My woman must be affectionate, passionate, compassionate, considerate, and nurturing toward all living things, especially her man and her family. She must like the simple home life things that only come with truly loving someone and wanting to be with them, not material things or activities that are centered more around money than love that comes straight from the heart, the simple things in life that mean more than all the money in the world. If this doesn't describe you very well, then we may not be very compatible, because it describes me exceptionally well – not that I’m a miser or skinflint either! LOL! It’s just that emotional considerations are far more important to me than material things of any kind. I'm a partially-disabled vet, retired, and a semi-retired musician and singer, but more of a homebody these days, enjoying quiet times and tinkering (typical guy stuff I guess, lol), and movies and TV at home with a glowing fire in the fireplace, but occasionally eat out, and I try to stay happy and smile quite a lot. All of the above are by far the most important qualities I look for in a woman, but I do tend to lean a little more favorably toward slightly younger women, as well as more on the slender to average size, but I'm not skinny either so that's not written in stone, however there must be some physical attraction there to start with, so you must have a picture to correspond with me. You can find me lots of places but I can't pay these prices on every site, so you’ll just have to find me some other way, sorry. Meanwhile, just keep on smiling and we may bump into each other somewhere, some day, and in the meantime everyone will get to enjoy your smiles! I know it’s a funny old cliche, but it truly does confuse the heck out of your enemies! I know for a fact that it works great for me when I get a little p'o'ed with anyone, seems like it makes them worry about just what I might do next, and by knowing that it worries them, it just makes me smile even bigger! Yes, you might guess from that remark that I can be a crafty ol' fart sometimes, but there's never any real hatefulness in anything I do or say, I'm not that kind of person. Besides, when you get to be this age, a smile is the best thing to give to anyone and everyone at every opportunity, because the good ones appreciate it, and the bad ones worry about what it might mean, which, like I said, only gives me more to smile about!
