Ok, about me ... Hmm ... Well .. I am laid back for the most part ..Strive not to stay stressed :) Have a bubblie personality and try to stay cheerful all the time ... Weekends are my down time .. I am as lazy as i wanna be :) I have a maltese.. He is my heart ! I work tons and tons more .. Have a semi stressful job, but who doesn't ... I like no, I love music .. Can't do country in the mornings though .. I would be balling my eyes out the whole way .. So mostly hip hop and country on the way home hahaha ... Music is my doctor for the most part.
I am not interested in people who have alot of drama. Especially with their ex if they have children. I love children but somehow when you date people with kids the ex wife always rules no matter what the situation is. I am too independent and head strong to sit and have someone else think that I have to deal with the situation because I am in the relationship with them. It's a give and take and have had the takers, now looking for the givers if there is any. I may be way off base, that's just my personal experience. Don't let me put you to sleep here heeheehee :)

Date someone special from United States. Hmmm, who am I and what am I looking for? First and foremost, a real man, no more flakes PLEASE! OK, I am a pretty happy person, don't let that opening line fool you. I am learning the longer I am on here the more I find out what I do not want, and that's scary. My friends describe me as laid back, outgoing, silly, and optimistic.I adapt pretty easily in new situations I work in the hotel industry, but my true passion is film making (acting). I have been blessed with the opportunity to work on quite a few feature films. Unfortunately my full time job at the hotel limits my ability to do as much film work as I would like to. I love the water, and really enjoy fishing and boating. I am looking for someone who is stable in their career and has a great sense of humor, and doesn't mind the fact that I work odd hours. What I have learned is we may have the world in common on paper, but that doesn't mean we are going to "connect" in person. It's OK if we meet, and we don't click. If you think I look like hell, you can tell me that too, but I probably already know if I do, LOL. It's really important to me that you be yourself from the start. Yes, I realize that there will sometime be nervousness and anxiety that can make people act strange in these situations, and I can deal with that. What's wrong with admitting those things? We are all human and far from perfect, flaws are what makes us who we are, and I am a fan of embracing that notion. I love to laugh at myself when I do something stupid, and hopefully you do too. I am kind of clumsy, tend to trip over my own feet at times, and am hoping to find someone who will catch me when I do :) UPDATE...I have gotten several emails asking if I live in NOLA or Orange Beach. I live and work fulltime in Orange Beach...well I work at a resort in Gulf Shores.

. So I moved from south Florida to Mobile in March for my job. I'm originally from Texas and am happy to be back on the Gulf Coast. As a marine biologist, you might quickly figure out what brought me here.
If I had to make a list of my qualities it would probably look like this:
- laid back but active (I discovered Crossfit a couple of years ago and definitely drank the Kool-Aid)
- low maintenance
- loves the outdoors, being on the water, and always looking for the next big adventure
- animal lover (not sure that I want/need kids at this point in my life, but I do love my furry child)
- has the patience of a saint (I have to agree with this one)
- likes a good book (when I force myself to sit down long enough to enjoy it)
- firm believer in the golden rule (not necessarily tied to any particular religion)
- humorous (although not sure that everyone gets my humor, especially in a typed format...but you can't have everything right?)
As you can probably tell, I'm a list maker. I also have a list of the Top 5 things to do before I turn the big 40:
1. Climb Kilimanjaro
2. Catch (and release!) a blue marlin
3. Dive Indonesia/Bali
4. Complete the mega-transect (25 mile adventure race) - ok, so my friends did this last year and said it totally sucked...so scratch this one! Did the Warrior Dash and signed up for the Tough Mudder instead :) UPDATE: check! Ran this in Dec 2011.
5. Get a tattoo (there is a story behind this...not just a whimsical thought)

I think you can tell if you connect with someone after a few dates and if it's worth pursuing. I love to laugh and have fun. My friends describe me as fun loving, crazy, and outspoken.
