Lastly, I am so excited to be preparing to move off grid and here is what it means to me:
Group of friends and I are buying a very large piece of property
Each of us will have our own 5 acres
Build my own earth-based home
The home will use passive and active solar power, possibly wind and water generators
Grow/raise my own food, or as much of it as I can, and barter with those in the community
Homeschool my children and possibly try to have one more
Live life to the fullest with someone I love!
Lastly, The past year has been a time of great evolution and positive change for me. I quit smoking in June of 2011 . I began actually being real with myself and my eating habits in May and have lost twenty pounds since then...I have faith in myself that the healthy habits will continue because of the strength I gained through quitting smoking.....I am truly dedicated to being healthy, but at 2 pounds per week, it's going to take a while to get there! I am definitely looking for someone who is health conscience, but not looks obsessed. I am interested in all things natural and honest, flaws and all...they provide character and wisdom ....

If we're going to sit and watch a movie I love romantic comedies, suspense, or drama...though I try to stay away from horror flicks...I have a tendency to elbow the person sitting next to me cause I'm so jumpy! ;-) lol
I love to read... I usually have a book going, and love fictional books...typically, I find an author I like and read all of their books and move on to another author....I've also recently discovered audio books which are great to listen to while driving to work or when I'm busy cleaning....but still nothing beats sitting down on the couch and curling up with a great book.
