So some specifics: I was born in Grass Valley, grew up in the greater Sacramento area with stints in Texas and Virginia. I am the oldest of four. I went to college at CSUC and did my graduate work at UCD. I loved college so much I became a professor... :-) I have been an educator for over 10 years. It is challenging, yet so rewarding. I have identical, eleven year old, twin daughters with whom I love to spend time. They play competitive travel fastpitch softball. One is a catcher - the other a pitcher. They are very active all of the time with softball, basketball, swimming, biking, you name it! I too, love to be active. I cycle, swim, run, try to play softball (ha) and have recently been taking golf lessons. My favorite thing to do is hot yoga! Absolutely love it! Yoga in 100 plus degrees....good stuff! I also love to read and just chill watching t.v. on my couch (MLB is my favorite). I want to travel more, learn to scuba dive and get into mountain biking.
I love my job, family and friends. I am a very positive person and surround myself with like minded people!
