I think many of us (with the exception of the scammers who ask for money for plane tickets back home from wherever they are) just want companionship with someone who is physically (or at least working on it), emotionally, and mentally healthy. I'd like to add that this someone ideally is employed, self-sufficient, and enjoys life. No one is perfect. We all say that and claim to know that, but do we really? I am always reminding myself of this and seek out the positives in people and situations instead of making assumptions based on a first glance. I mean, isn't the possibility of meeting someone special worth overlooking surface imperfections and finding out what's underneath? :-) That said, it still would be nice to have someone to come home to, or someone who'd come home to me, someone to kiss goodnight, someone to kiss good morning.
