But once I get to know you I'm full of sass, sweetness, stubbornness and often painfully honest (but only if someone asks me to be and I know they can actually take it.) I use the word “Classy” with my name but it should really be “Classic.” Most of the time, if you ask those who love me to use one word to describe me, “classic” is what they’d choose. ("Cute" would be the second word.) I’m just not a very trendy person. I would say this goes for my wardrobe and my home. I surround myself mostly with items that never really go out of style. I can be comfortable in my blue jeans and a t-shirt or my skirt, heels and pearls. I’m also quite practical. I don’t do a lot of fussing when it comes to clothes, makeup, jewelry and accessories. It’s just not something that interests me. This does NOT mean that I don’t like to look nice! I’m just self-conscious about my appearance and feel like the more accessories and shiny things you add, the more attention you are going to get. And that’s just really not me.
I LOVE my family (They're awesome! Seriously. I have one of those strong, fun and loving families that others want to be a part of.) And I love the Lord. IРІР‚в„ўm always looking to grow my relationship with Him and I desire to know Him more. If, or when, I settle down with someone someday it will be with a man who agrees that we should constantly encourage each other to grow in our relationship with God which will then enrich our relationship with one another.
I'm looking for someone who can make me laugh and who is willing to laugh with me when I think I'm funny (quite often.) I have a sort of sarcastic/silly/self-deprecating sense of humor and it takes a special person to get it. I would love to find my best friend. If youРІР‚в„ўre super proud of your body, thatРІР‚в„ўs great, but IРІР‚в„ўm probably not the girl for you...cause I'm really not going to care THAT much about it. (Being attractive and fit is one thing. Wanting to look like you could take down King Kong by yourself is another.)
I'm just getting started on this site right now so I can sum it up by saying, if you can make me laugh and I feel like I can really relax with you then we're on the right track. But if you start out by thinking you're awesome and perfect for me, prepare to get knocked down a few pegs. But I promise, IРІР‚в„ўll be polite about it.

I'm not a big drinker AT ALL, but I didn't think it was honest to answer "Never" when it asked. I’m somewhere between “Social drinker” and “Never.”
Regarding MY “Body Type”: I think it’s really hard to sum up a woman’s body in just one word. I answered, “curvy” because I want to be honest and they didn’t give me the option to choose “I’m not super thin but I’m not fat either.” Maybe “About Average” would be a better choice, but that just sounds so dull.

I work at a public university and teach first year students about adjusting to their new lives. My passion though is dog rescue. I wish I could find every dog a loving home. Since my house is full with two dogs and two cats, I help rescues feed, house, and vet the dogs in their care and if the right dog comes along, I foster. I have a particular soft spot for short mug breeds (fenchies, english bulldogs, boston terriers, pugs) and pit bulls. I had the pleasure of fostering a pit bull earlier this year and she was the sweetest, gentlest dog I have ever seen.
I would love to combine my psychology background with my passion for dog rescue and animal behavior. There are times as humans we can't see how behavioral changes can help us, but when we see the difference it makes in the life of a dog, it can build confidence in a person, a student, a patient in therapy and it can also change the dog's life, hopefully by getting the dog a loving home :).
