Meet a woman from California, United States. To preface this section, I'm adding the update that I quit smoking. It was very hard, but I did it and I now feel fabulous, so if you smoke, well, I don't want to be around you...Sorry! Moving on......I grew up and was educated in England. I have 2 teenage sons and 3 great dogs. I'm well educated and love good conversations. I'm open-minded and enjoy learning something new every day. I don't mind criticism, if it's constructive. I'm easy going but I have high standards. I've been divorced 6 years and am very independent. I love to cook and my favorite evenings are the one's where I can entertain in my home. I am non-judgmental and consider myself to be a loyal friend to those in my inner circle. I am very creative, and I love anything that has to do with building, construction and design. I love to get my hands dirty. Scuba diving with Hammerheads is a passion. I am not the kind of woman who needs a man to make me feel complete, but would prefer someone to accentuate my life and be a part of it.
I'm looking for a guy that's spontaneous, fun and adventurous. Someone that has at least 1 foot on the ground. He should be caring, compassionate, considerate, believe in himself and his convictions, loyal to his friends, non-judgmental and enjoy good conversation, and most of all possess the gift of laughter and hopefully the ability to make me smile too. He should also like home cooking. He should have goals and objectives and be a positive thinker. Motivation is good thing and that should not be confused with motor skills which are needed to operate game controllers and remote controls. He should be hot, passionate, sexy and smell good. I would like to find someone that accepts me for who I am and not try to change me into what he thinks he wants. Everyone is different and special in their own way. It's finding the right combination that's the tough part. Instant chemistry is important otherwise without the "fizz".....well, "flat" doesn't work for me. He also needs to respect and understand the responsibility and commitment that comes with having children. Although mine are older, there is a certain amount of involvement still required on my part, in order to maintain a harmonious household with 2 teenage bpys.
I have found that most people have excess luggage. Fortunately, mine has been broken down into small overnight suitcases and stored away nicely in the recesses. I know it's there if the need should arise but I have chosen not to make it a part of my everyday life. We are all human and we all make mistakes that we can learn from. I feel that as long as you can take responsibility and learn from your mistakes, tomorrow is a new day.
I'm young at heart and young in my head and would prefer to socialise with younger men as opposed to older. If you can see my picture, I should be able to see yours and without one, I won't respond. Nothing personal, but initial interest is sparked by what you look like and THEN by what you have to say.
