Date a man from California, United States. Moved out here from Houston a few years ago hence the headline. In brief, I'm fun, outgoing, intelligent/articulate, willing to try anything at least once (thus far) and great balancing life’s seriousness with quick wit and a well rounded sense of humor. Believe in honesty and integrity in what I do and am 100% behind the people I care about- the line from Drops of Jupiter comes to mind here. Great cook and love having friends over to BBQ (brisket, ribs, cajun, etc). I work out and/or run daily and usually eat from the healthier side of the menu, not to an OCD level about these just like how I feel when I do. Well, I like how I feel afterward, when I'm actually doing it , mostly find myself going, "good flippin' grief, I've been doing this for how many years, doesn't it ever like get easier?"....but I digress, the main point here being I enjoy (kinda) working out so hoping to find someone to share that joy ,and pain, with.
I have two great kids (daughter 12, son 14) so if you have kids too, great I absolutely get that, and if not no problem, I'm fantastic at sharing. My pictures are current/within the last couple years, those with the beard are more recent and please note, none are taken in a bathroom mirror posing shirtless although if this is a requirement on ones Match profile page I guess one can be provided ;^). I'm open and direct so anything else you'd like to know please ask.
As for my match, not sure a list will really capture what making a connection is about, just be honest and be yourself as that's the person I'd like to learn about, from there it really comes down to common ground, feelings and chemistry which can only be figured out by meeting. An email is a great start, followed with a call or two and then on to the meeting in person part. To borrow from Jack Sparrow (or Barbosa?), that’s more of a guideline and certainly not the only approach should we need to switch it up a bit.

Hey there thanks for stopping by.I am a 52 year old man who is searching for a special woman.I am well traveled, intelligent, funny, witty, and probably talk more to strangers than what would be considered normal.I enjoy friends, family, meeting new people, animals, mother nature and getting up in the morning.Every day is a new adventure that just adds another page to the story. My story is long, exciting, unbelievable at times, and one of a kind.I am a retired Fireman Paramedic who for 20 years had the BEST job in the world.I enjoy getting into and out of different situations, have traveled extensively both foreign and domestically and enjoyed the interactions with the natives the most. Most recently I have been spending time in exile out here in the boonies reflecting and healing from the wonderful world of love and romance.Leaving the boonies soon and looking for my new best friend. She is a smart, independent, funny, sexy woman who has a past and a present and is looking forward to the future.A good mother, likes to share, expects the truth, enjoys spirited conversation, silence, chaos and accepts apologies. It's more fun sharing life with someone special and I look forward to meeting you.I would also like to share that I don't lie, rarely cheat, never in relationships, and I am as loyal as a good dog.I do not have this website figured out at this point so if I have offended you please accept my humble apology, now and in the future. That is it for now, hope we find what we are looking for.....LT
Date a man from United States. I've been retired from teaching math for 6 yrs; and to be honest I'm tired of being alone. I would like to meet a partner to share life with; a companion to care for. I'm still at a stage in life where life does present many opportunities; I'd like to experience those with someone I care for. There is a say; "A person only puts his foot in the same river one time." What is here today is gone tomorrow. I also believe it is important to accept the person you are with and allow them to live there own lives. Being together is not a certificate of ownership. Trusting each other is important. It's important to do things together but it is also important to allow your mate to do the things she needs to do either with you or without.
