I am realizing as I am going through this dating process that I tend to live a younger lifestyle and it would only seem appropriate for me to date a younger man. I love to go out dancing and listening to live music, I play badminton on Thursdays, cricket every other weekend, like to hike and bike and go wine tasting.
I want to share the intimacies of a committed relationship, but I really don't see myself getting married again. Not even sure I would want to live with someone. I really need my own space and flexibility is super important, as my work as a Realtor requires odd hours sometimes, and I often don't know where I am going to be from week to week.
Last summer as part of my process of becoming single I lost 30lbs and changed my hair style. This physical change has had a huge effect on how I feel about myself. I've always been fairly self confident in my intelligence and congeniality - but it has been fun to become a new ME!
The most important features in a man are his intelligence and compassion - an understanding that we live on a finite planet with diminishing resources - a love for nature and the outdoors are key. Physically fit is important - you don't have to be a body builder but hopefully pay attention to what you eat and I'm sorry but a big belly is a big turn-off. Well groomed and nice smelling are always good.
I am very social - so be ready for that please! In the past I've found myself drawn to the cerebral but non-communicative types who like to stay home - NO MORE!
I want to travel more in the next few years - just discovered snorkeling in CABO last November - looking for more of those types of outings! If you feel the same let's get to know each other and have some fun!

It's actually pretty hard to talk about oneself. I have a young spirit and heart. Love to be outside and on the go doing fun and exciting things, or just hanging out. I'm retired, my life is now my own and I'm ready to get going.

Do you like the theater and or opera? I just came back from Findhorn, Scotland and we did our own rendition of "As You Like It". Wonderful experience.
