Date people from West Los Angeles, United States. I grew up in CA all my life and its the best town a single guy can ask for...most of it in the small town of Pacific Palisades. This changed when i left for college and I try my best to come back every weekend because I teach Kar-ate at the martial arts studio to really fun young kids. I gotta say that every time i see these little guys it really brightens up my day.
I definitely value my family, my friends (who are a select few) and know I have a good heart. Love being in-love, although that's only been once and I try to see myself not as a player but i definitely love to have a good time. Whenever I find a girl I like, I take it as my responsibility as a man to take care of her and show her how great life can be.
My friends call me Thor but I don't mind you doing your own thing if it's something I'm not into. I'm trusting when I know I can be and also not into jealousy and drama,...please!
I have a brother who is 14 months younger & 2 step siblings.
My ideal match is some who i can talk to and listen to me. I'd love to hear from her too. I have a lot of stories, though they could be pretty dulll, about my life - Just shut me up if I'm rambling. I also am not very social, like on the bar or club scene and have only had one girlfriend in my whole life, but I would love and be really happy to have my potential partner EASE me into the whole social scene. The bottom line is I'm willing.
I am currently also attending college and majoring in Kinesiology. I plan to graduate in the fall.
Meet a boy from United States. About Me:
My name is Kyle. Born and raised in Massachusetts. Family oriented; I have two loving parents who are happily married, and two amazing older brothers. I played NCAA Division 1 football and lacrosse at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Graduated with a Bachelors Degree in English. Moved to California just over a year ago. I am a elementary school teacher, high school lacrosse coach, and personal trainer. Pursuing to get my Masters Degree in Education. I love to have a good time. I am really into sports and being active; literally love playing any sport; also running, hiking, yoga, weight lifting, etc. I am a self-motivated individual. I am genuine and caring. I love going out and having a great time as equally as I like to stay in, cook a nice dinner, and watch a movie. And I am adventurous and driven. Some goals: to run the Chicago, New York, and Boston marathons; climb one of the top 5 largest mountains in the world; compete in an IronMan; compete in a cyclist major event; skydive; and most importantly backpack Europe.
I'm Looking For Someone:
-who is down to earth.
-who is fun, energetic, and outgoing.
-who is genuine and true.
-who is easy to talk to; who I can relate to.
-who wants to be spontaneous and adventurous.
-who has a great personality.
Date single boy from United States. In no particular order:
I still say "hella" from time to time (born and raised in NorCal).
I would like to eventually have a different tie for every day of the year.
I sometimes talk to household appliances.
I don't understand why they make slim fit pants in sizes larger than a 36.
I'm allergic to peanuts but eat them anyway.
I thoroughly enjoy cooking.
I once had 3 cars at the same time, but could only drive 2 of them at once...
Not a huge fan of roller coasters.
Purple is a pretty neat color.
I think sandwiches are the pinnacle of culinary genius.
I play hockey left-handed but am otherwise right-handed.
I like video games.
I strongly dislike the word "moist."
I WRITE IN ALL CAPS.
I know the difference between there, their, and they're. Impressive, I know.
I'm pretty easy-going overall, just trying to make the most of my time while I'm here. I do work hard in my career and enjoy it most of the time, so I try to squeeze in as much as I can outside of that - whether it's a relaxing day around town or a random adventure up the coast. My sense of humor is all over the place and fairly sarcastic, so hopefully yours is as well. To that end I'd like to find someone who is funny, intelligent, who isn't afraid to speak her mind, and won't hesitate to drop a good 'that's what she said' when the opportunity presents itself. Really just someone who is as ridiculous as I am. If you think you fit the bill then I look forward to hearing from you.
Meet a boy from United States. I'm originally from a small town called Edmond, Oklahoma and moved out to L.A. for a change of pace and to start my own business. I live by myself on the west side and love it!
I'm working in the microchip division of a pet company as Lead Developer. It's a great job and feels good to contribute towards a cause versus solely just making a paycheck.
Aside from my main job I'm growing my business and offer "specialty" services like data recovery and penetration testing. I've acquired 2 certifications in my industry and am always excited to learn more.
Family is very important and they describe me as loving, affectionate, confident, strong-willed, dynamic, and full of laughter. I've got a big heart and am always willing to help out those in need and am first to give up my wants if it helps an others need.
I lean more towards the traditional side when it comes to how to treat a girl and believe the man has a responsibility for taking care of the girl he's with.
Honesty and communication are two very important values I possess and look for in others.
I have a few close friends and would rather be close to a handful of people than have many friends that I know little about. Laughter is such a huge part of my life and if you can make me laugh we'll get quickly get along.
Date men and women from United States. You can say many things about someone, whether they live up to it or not is the question. I am human and therefore just like you. I have my ups and downs. Loved the ups more than the downs, but the downs happen. I've learned life is about how we make it in the present moment. In this present moment I want to find a female companion to share life with. My friends and family mean the world to me and I want to expand that circle even more so.
Currently living in WestLA and life is great! Work less than 3 miles away from home. Working in the day time as a calculator and in the night as musician/myself. Music has always been my link to the soul; my mantra, my love. You may hear me singing randomly, sometimes in my sleep!
I love exploring all that LA has to offer from bar hopping, first fridays and art walk, beaching it, hiking the endless mountains, live shows, and all the great food! Of course I do enjoy relaxing at home watching a good movie.
Looking to meet a cool girl that has similar interests and can keep an open mind. Intellectual beauty is what really turns me on! Your mind is what's truly beautiful and will keep you young forever. Physical attraction is definitely important, but overall I feel the connection of minds is what makes relationships. Not saying I want a "relationship", I want to connect first and see where it goes.
I am open to get to know everyone; no judgements. If it turns out we gel, great! If not, thanks for taking the time and peace! :)
Meet people from United States. My friends and family tend to think I have everything figured out but I would like to think that I have plenty of figuring left to do. (If you are 26 and already know everything you want out of life... please stop reading :).…)This is where I’m at so far:
I grew up under constant heckling from three quirky big sisters… needless to say this has left me with a soft spot for family and a decent sense of humor. My Southern CA roots have predictably made me a fan of sunny weekends: surfing, tennis, golf, sushi, wine, a good Sunday afternoon barbeque, or an occasional impromptu Vegas trip. While I’ve ventured out a bit in my travels and spent a couple great years in San Francisco for work, Southern California will always be home.
I’ve learned to embrace my career…as much as I sometimes share the viewpoints of the brilliant writers of “Office Space”, work is a necessary part of life, so I try to excel at it. Plus it allows my inner nerd to shine. I work in institutional investment consulting down in the South Bay (I know… what the heck does that mean! …. Ask me later if you care, haha) Weeknights are spent getting a drink with friends, an after-work trip to the gym if I’m feeling motivated, the occasional intramural softball game, and of course a relaxing night of quality cable television (I hate the reality TV phenomenon yet find myself addicted to Pawn Stars and Storage Wars lately…. )
In general life is great but someone to share it with is always a bonus. Personality traits that stand out above others for me would be compassion, ambition, and honesty. Most importantly, I’d like to meet someone who makes fun a priority and can laugh often in spite of the challenges that every day brings.
Date a guy from United States. I have about 18 more days left on my account, really hadn't had much luck on here. So if you want to message me you better do it soon.
Sarcastic, witty, fun loving, beard growing, whiskey drinking, Star Wars loving, movie making, video game playing son of a gun. I'm a down to earth type of guy, who always has he's head in the stars. I feel like I have a lot to give, and all I'm looking for is that right person to give it to... no pun intended.
Just moved out to LA from Florida.
Like the words of John Lennon “All you need is love”
Meet someone special from West Los Angeles, United States. trying out two profiles - 1. A female friend tweaked my page and adjusted it. 2. Me maybe you can figure out which is which
Quick note: This is a dating site and I'd like to go on a date and see where it goes. I think too many people are hoping to find their soulmate and are too selective - how about we just go out and see what happens.
Hello Hello - My name is Wilson and if I have winked at you, it is because I read your profile and I am interested. If you’re interested in a guy who is six feet tall, Caucasion, slender or toned, and/or makes over 150k a year, I am not going to contact you because that is not me. If women can request an athletically toned man, why can’t men request a busty woman or a woman with a kadunkadunk – you know what I mean…
Truth is, I am a quality guy. All I ask is that you let me be me. I definitely consider myself to be athletic – I run three miles, work out, and can compete at soccer, volleyball, and basketball. I am confident and genuine, I have dated plenty – meaning I am not socially awkward around women, and I love to give people a hard time.
Still don’t believe it? Children are a great at judging people and children love me – I work at a school and coach outside of school, all these children will vouch for me.
I have a job. I do not live with my parents. I love to travel when possible. I am a white-washed Hispanic who was born and raised in CA. I got my bachelors at UC Santa Barbara – go Gauchos ! I have integrity and have a fantastic relationship with friends and family.
I have read enough profiles to know women tend to always ask for a guy who with a great sense of humor – well that is me. SO – say hello and let’s go out. Guess what, not only will I make you laugh, open your door, ask you how your day was, but I will also take you out (because I enjoy going out) and not take you for granted.
Turn ons: Intelligence. Someone who is Genuine. A sincere smile. A quirky laugh. Integrity. Humility. Honesty. Intelligence (seriously). Respect. Someone who is confident being themselves – shy, outgoing, nerdy, whatever, as long as you are not embarrassed to be you = Confidence. A short skirt. A flirty attitude.
Disclaimer: Although I am a spiritual person, I do not follow a religion and if religion is a huge part of your life, I am not the guy for you. I do enjoy discussing theology though.
I have a great appreciation for my friends and family. Surrounding myself with good, positive people helps to keep me grounded. I enjoy life and I have a great sense of humor.
I work full time at a school and I also do a lot of coaching on the side. It can be challenging at times, but it's definitely a rewarding experience. Currently, I am coaching a soccer team. I have started my traveling adventures and have been to Hawaii, San Francisco, El Salvador, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Thailand. Thaliand was the most unique and best experience, having enjoyed Bangkok and the island Koi Sumai.
Some of my favorite activities include going to shows (stand up/music concerts), going to the movies, doing something active (bowling/basketball/hiking/bike riding), going to a new restaurant, and just hanging out.
I am looking to date someone who wants to go out, be herself, have a good time, and share a laugh. Honesty, trust, and good communication are very important to me when dating someone. I am at the stage of my life where I am serious about dating.
If you're looking for a genuinely nice guy, write me back. Who knows, maybe you'll enjoy a guy who opens your door and makes you laugh. Take care and happy hunting.
Date people from United States. I'm from NY originally, but have been in SoCal since 2006. I always thought I'd be a city person, but have fallen hard for the California lifestyle. For the past few years I've been living in Hermosa Beach, playing a lot of volleyball and enjoying the surf and sand. I'm a huge movie junkie who came out here to work in entertainment, doing production coordinator and development work at a film/tv prodco until the writer's strike, which effectively ended my time in film. I found that working in the industry really wasnt helping my love of the end product, wasn't thrilled with the people, and after the strike I wanted something a bit more stable. Since then I've been working in finance/private equity downtown, while still exploring my passions on the side, including reading, writing, food and especially wine. Corporate life doesn't exactly suit me, too detached from nature, so I've been spending a lot of time in Santa Barbara wine country exploring and meeting with winemakers, and have set up a harvest internship for this fall. I'm also starting grad school pre-req classes at UCLA this summer for viticulture and enology (and in July moved to Westwood to be closer to class/work). Between work, class, wine trips and beach volleyball I haven't had much time to date, but would love to meet someone smart, funny and sarcastic to explore with, who appreciates experiencing fine-dining restaurants (I'm a big foodie, LA has a pretty great scene if you dig a little), trips to wine country and hikes up and down California when I need to decompress from city life. I prefer backpacking, just getting away from the modern world for a few days to head into the wildnerness. Last trip was four days in the Ventana backcountry in Big Sur, and it was fantastic. I haven't had much time to do that as I'd like, so finding someone to motivate me to hit all the great national parks and hidden spots while dropping in on vineyards would be a major plus.
So, that barely scratches the surface, but if you're interested, shoot me an email, or give a wink. In fact, even if you're not interested just press the wink icon. It will help keep me from curling up in the corner of my room, rocking back and forth and crying because no one likes me. Cheers.
Meet single man from United States. Hi, I'm Jonny. Like almost everyone in LA, I moved here not too long ago, originally from Kansas, and spent the last 4 years in northern California for grad school. I'm a really relaxed, easy-going, positive kinda guy, and I'm really loving exploring all that LA has to offer. I got really lucky and scored an amazing job down here, and I may never leave California now. I love riding my bike around town, spending the day at the beach, or anything outdoors really.
Date people from California, United States. Hello… What have we here?
I see this only as a venue for us to connect where we wouldn’t normally run across each other in day-to-day life. Me: Tall, dark, and handsome; even-tempered, playful, affectionate, with a goofy to witty sense of humor; and can banter back and forth. Not to mention the pretty blue eyes...
My biggest hobby and passion that has dominated my life for the past year and a half is Star Wars - I’m a total geek for it. And it is the reason I have just moved to Los Angeles from Seattle. The Star Wars Saga is a great modern mythology that really resonates with the most basic aspects of humanity, and the fan community really is a great group of people. My enthusiasm has been growing steadily over the last 15 years. I collect the fine artwork (not so much the toys), have gone to conventions, have made costumes, etc. My newest project has been producing a 35-minute SW-related short film. I’ve been working with a great group of professionals filmmakers who share the same passion for Star Wars, and I decided I needed to be here to continue working on our other projects, help build the production company, etc. So at the end of April I picked up my life and relocated it and my day job here. The film project has been one of the best things I’ve ever been involved in and it has already afforded opportunities I never thought I would get.
Star Wars is just one of my particular eccentricities that I hope you can appreciate as you will have to deal with it. So, what is your hobby or passion - a TV or book series, movie genre, or franchise that you really get into?
Other interests - I am a big skier – at least a trip to Whistler B.C. every season. I will need to explore the CA resorts next season. I have a small cabin on 5 acres up in the mountains near Seattle that I spent the last few years building by hand from scratch. I kayak, roller blade, shoot pool, go see local rock bands, and like to watch NFL football. I enjoy pulling off surprises. I can cook/grill a good meal when spending the time (or someone) is worth it. And I make a pretty epic weekend breakfast… The old standard of curling up with a cute girl in front of a good movie always makes for time well spent. And no, I won’t make you watch Star Wars every time… I may suggest it first though. For something a little more interactive, how about old-school board games or Xbox? (I cannot claim hardcore gamer status though)
An interest in these activities is great, but it's not a deal-breaker, well, maybe except for Star Wars… Maybe you do something cool you want to introduce me to?
Day-job - I have done very well for myself as a Mechanical Engineer, with still lots of potential ahead of me in that field. Have a pretty sweet job that gives me lots of flexibility and has allowed me to travel - and now relocate here to our local office. We'll see how this Hollywood stuff plays out but things are already taking off...
As far as the type of woman that interests me, it's totally relative. I like the girl-next-door, pretty, natural look. Jeans and boots, or a skirt and heels will get me every time. Bonus points for anything European, freckles, geeky culture, cosplay, skiing, the ability to crush my fragile male ego in a good competition, or being of the opinion that Han shot first. Everyone has their quirks and it’s interesting to see how those quirks interact. But again, it's all relative...
Meet men and women from California, United States. I enjoy being outdoors, riding my bike, camping/backpacking, playing guitar, barbecuing with friends, debating nonsense, drinking a good craft beer, stuff like that. I have started reading a lot again in the past few years only to find that people don't read anymore, which is too bad in my opinion because there is so much good stuff out there. I typically like books on religion, science and finance, or fiction that comes recommended from a trusted source like NPR or my sister. I make an exception for Dan Brown because he is so terrible that he sustains my fantasy of one day writing for a living.
The older I get the more convinced I am that my parents are saints even though we're not Catholic. They're pretty much the best people I know, plus they're seriously hilarious. I have a younger sister that I am close with. I have a handful of really good friends that are like family to me. I make a comfortable living, but I can't say I'm passionate about my work.
I'm looking for someone who is smart, cares about what's going on in the world and has limited baggage. By that I mean pretty much carry on only, if you have to check in I'm not sure it's going to work out. I'm looking for a serious relationship but not with someone super serious, if you can't laugh at yourself then we're not likely to get a long.
