Date a guy from Stanford, United States. Hi there. You should know that I own more champagne flutes than any other type of glass combined, and that I eat more chocolate than the average human being.
Currently, I work as a research psychologist at Stanford.
In my free time I host the occasional champagne / chocolate party, explore new restaurants, enjoy wine tastings and charity events, and planning my next getaway.
Sometimes I volunteer at an animal shelter, because I'm a cat person.
If any of that floats your boat, just send me a message. If I find you interesting we can just hangout: how cool is that?!
Meet a man from United States. I love different cultures and the natural world. I run around places like the Amazon and fight bad guys. I sometimes travel Bear Grylls style but other times just like to relax at the beach.
Ideally, my match would be intelligent and kind and enjoy the outdoors.
Date people from United States. Obviously, each of us is in control of how our lives are shaped, how we affect others and how others affect us in our every day lives. I've learned that nothing is one hundred percent, one hundred percent of the time. A simple smile can help a stranger when you least expect, so don't miss the chance. Honesty, kindness and respect were once common place in our lives and can be again, trust me. Oh yeah, there's that trust thing too. Don’t forget that one. Sure feels good to "say what you do and do what you say." Not to mention how it makes others feel!
Am active man with a great sense of humor who enjoys all types of music, physical fitness, dancing and singing. I would like to meet a special woman who loves life, learns and grows from her life experiences, and has fun in the process. I am looking for a stable, self-confident partner who I can have fun with. A person who likes to laugh and have great conversations that could last all night. A person who could help make this journey full of wonder and excitement but also be ready to handle all of the ups and downs that come our way.I truly look forward to meeting you I love spur of the moment things but also appreciate having a special date planned ... I want a woman to want me in every way TOTALLY, to be able to sit in silence..enjoying a cup of coffee or watching a sunset ....to feel comfort in silence, just feeling the love flowing between us. I also want to feel erotic sensual moments feeling the hot passion , endless lovemaking. Having her smile melt my heart all the way into my soul leaving me with the feeling of wanting to always give to please.
I am down to earth, appreciate the simple things and value respect, honesty and integrity. I am not in need or needy and am quite independent. it would be great to find a lover, friend/, partner to share romantic, adventurous, family and social experiences with. Fine dining or dinner at home sharing a nice bottle of red wine, healthy eating, quieter times at home reading, conversing or cooking together are special, as well as socializing with friends, being outdoors, enjoying nature, and seeking the intrigue of new adventures. Walks, talks, golf... shopping?! heater and concerts are great, too.I would enjoy the company of an intelligent woman with a positive outlook, who can find the positive and beauty in everyday life.Relaxing, lots of smiles, and enjoying each others company, and hopefully, having that 'sexual attraction' is something to look forward to. I love the arts and attending cultural events, travelling and spending time in the country. I like to think I have a great sense of humor and appreciate the same. Well-adjusted, happy and healthy, and hopefully you are to.
Meet a woman from Stanford, United States. Oh Match.com....we meet again. Oy vey or ole'?
So I was listening on NPR to this show called Monkey See that is a conversation between a few of the culture writers/ reviewers. These guys and one girl were culturally curious, extremely funny, nerdy and self-deprecating. The topic was cultural blind spots and ranged from Scott Pilgrim vs the World to making fun of M. Night Shyalaman to the reasons they loved or didn't love Tolkien novels, Breaking Bad and Modern Family.
As I was listening, without even seeing these guys, I wanted to be in the conversation, to back-up the guy who as a kid loved maps in his books and names with punctuation because it showed the author cared about the details of his brave new world. They were SO funny, and well-read and articulate but in the best way...they also listened, and enjoyed each other and were having fun reveling in their nerd-dom. Whatever it was that they loved, be it pin ball machines and Pac Man to a made up elfin language. I realized, that's the kind of guy I want to meet.
So me.... I read... alot. Yep, I have a good job. Yep, I have way too many hobbies from backpacking to sea-kayaking to pro-baking to questionable comedy improv and I do defend the South when it is offended. It's my duty.
Make me laugh, challenge me intellectually, LISTEN, be my hero when needed, accept all my sides, even the ones that aren't so flattering and be a great Saturday night date. And call me on my stuff.
A mature view on life, love and sex...por favor! Creative folks are a plus in all the preceding departments.
