I did some careful internet research i.e. google and Siri to tell me how to write the perfect profile - they both failed - Siri keeps sending me to self help groups - she just doesn't understand me. So I am just going to wing it..
Here's the scoop: I grew up in the south, I am a southern gentleman, a quick phone call to my momma can verify this for you (no I am not a momma's boy, in search of another mother, I am just respectful and appreciative of the wonderful woman who put up with an amazing load of crap from her son as he grew into a man.) I offer my coat if you are cold, I hold doors, I pay for dinner unless you tell me you want to, I rise when you either sit, or return to the table, I still say yes/no ma'am/sir, I bring flowers and wine when I visit someone's house. However, you should note that occasionally there is potential for jackassery behavior. I am just saying, you have been warned.
I think I am pretty funny - mind you most of the time I am laughing at that guy I see in the mirror. He cracks me up.
My friends call me the "boyscout" this can mean a few different things, depending on how you want to look at it. Either I am always prepared or I like to help little old ladies across the street, or my favorite, I am good with knots - hmmm you decide.
I will do just about anything for chocolate chip cookies - well there are probably limits but I haven't explored them yet - interested? I can cook gourmet but make killer PBJs, however please note you have to ask real nicely if you want the crust cut off. I ride motorcycles, fly fish, iron my own clothes, listen to country music (and just about everything else) drink cold beer but really enjoy a beautiful Syrah from Australia, love the ocean but feel equally at home in the mountains. I like coffee first thing in the morning, black no sugar. Random text messages telling me that "my butt looked good in those jeans" almost always guarantees special treats for you - completely negotiable on what we define as special treats.
I want a woman who can be my friend first. While the idea of cheap meaningless sex has crossed my mind - I'm a boy damn it - I really really want a friend first. There are going to be days when you look at me and without friendship you may be inclined to grab my cast iron frying pan and adjust my attitude. Who really wants that on their record? It would be nice if you are honest - I can borrow a lie detector (I know someone) but that gets a little cumbersome to lug around on our dates. I want a woman who owns a little black dress but can also shimmy into a pair of jeans, boots and head out for horseback riding. I want a woman who is not scared of dirt - I have a simple rule "god made dirt, thus dirt must be good - unless you are chewing on it in your sandwich and then it's just gross." I like women who aren't afraid to ask me questions - boys are not always the most gifted creatures at communication, in fact pretty sure that until women came along most men's conversations consisted of grunts, snorts, and a lot of scratching.
