I'm looking for a fresh start in a new fantastic relationship with a really great special girl :) Nothing new here. I'm just looking for someone with a very quick and sharp wit, and with the good sense of humor to giggle about it. I'm looking for a woman who really takes care of herself and is proud of her physique. Someone who is well travelled, but yearns for a little more. Someone who has tried to avoid dramas in her life wherever possible. Someone who doesn't look, act or feel her age, whatever that is, and with a zeal for life. A woman who I would absolutely consider my equal, to build a solid relationship with. Someone fun, with whom I could feasibly look to as a lifetime partner. (Wait! No rings yet!!) In fact, I don't intend to jump into anything serious right now, (but then, we never do!) although I'd like to meet somebody and have no pre-expectations.
I'd just like to meet someone without having to actually troll for her. (You're not a fish!!) You could be the girl I just said hello to in the grocery store, but didn't have the nerve to strike up a conversation! You could be the girl filling up her gas tank at the next island. Or the receptionist at the doctor's office, or the doctor herself!! When I was younger, I could meet you wherever people my age hung out. While I know where the people are that are my age then, now, where are the people MY age now? (Believe it or not, if you read it back slowly, it makes sense!)
I have had several record deals. Not really worth mentioning, except it did take a lot of time and work (many years) for little gains or rewards! However, music is a wonderful field, and I'm proud of my artistry! I'm quite exceptional. But I also worked the entire time "under the table" (so to speak) as an accountant. Most recently I was a litigation specialist for the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, after spending years as their top auditor. I am currently retired from that and am now living in LA and looking after 87 year old Mom, while paying the mortgage on my home in Washington. But the rain there is horrible, so I welcome the trade-off! But I keep very busy!
I'm a very accomplished bassist, and prolific song writer, having written, recorded and produced over 100 songs thru to completion and recording. I've published many. I'm very optimistic about my future, but not simply living in a fantasyland. I'm a self-sufficient go-getter still following that dream. Only at least I have some funding now! My performance days, however, are commercially behind me. I occasionally play out now, but no longer leap around on stage!!
I've studied Shing Yi Chuan for twenty five years, and am much better than when I started! I exercise daily, particularly when the sun is out, which is a really good thing for So Cal. Not so great in WA. Physically I'm in pretty good shape. I swim a whole lot. I look in much better shape than I probably am, tho. But at least my muscles look sorta purty.
So, I look for a very special woman who wants to love life with someone else really smart and cool, and once again smell the magic of the Spring! I guess that's the one thing missing from my life now: the girl. I have to honestly say, tho, that I'm not looking for an STR: but if that's what develops, I'm good with it. But as is said, "Once bitten twice shy!" I guess I'm sorta skeptical of all women, but I still love them! Ah, the paradox!
And I must admit, this electronic process of romance does kinda give me 'willies'. But I'll get over it!
