My women friends tell me I'm a great catch (and forced me to do this), but yes, I'm 50 and single, so that must mean that there is something definitely wrong with me. :) I don't think there is. I gave my heart to the same woman for the last 15 years, and it didn't work out. She's a beautiful being, but somehow it wasn't meant to be.
I'm also not your regular guy. I'm the outdoorsy type. My kind of fun is climbing mountains, mountain biking, traveling with friends, getting lost, meeting new people, that kind of etcetera. Yes, I know that we've all traveled extensively, but I doubt many have accumulated the stories I have. BTW, the photos of me are pretty recent, except where noted. I've always looked younger than my age (not complaining about that).
By now I know who I am and whom I want by my side. I won't waste your time. I'm honest and I work to make the world a better place. I'm loyal, and will be there by your side when the world tumbles down on you (as well as to celebrate your accomplishments).
I'm into natural-looking women; no unnecessary, cosmetic body additions. I need a "glass half full' kind of person, not sweating all the little stuff, and someone who is good, an innately caring person. I'm definitely not into materialistic women (my friends tell me to avoid anybody from Corona del Mar, what's that about?), but that doesn't mean that I'm not financially secure. I just think that those are the wrong values.
Oh, and yes, I still have the idea of starting a family, so that should also be your idea.

Sorry, I've learned this from observing my coworkers. Quirkiness? Anything "off" about you will probably attract me (however, there are limits to this:). I do believe in the perfection of imperfection.
