Date a soulmate from California, United States. I love to go to Del Mar in the summer and enjoy everything Del Mar has to offer. Del Mar has horse racing, beach, shopping and some of the most romantic dining to be found anywhere. Sbicca, Rendezvous, Pacifica and Poseidon on the beach will not disappoint, maybe I will, but not the restaurants
I enjoy traveling, cruises, concerts, hanging out with family and friends, working out at the gym or just lounging by the pool listening to music. The music can be anything from rock and roll to country, blues to reggae. I have a sharp wit and I can be about as funny as anyone you have ever met-or so I'm told.
I'm looking for someone who is smart, has a great sense of humor(Just about everybody has a good sense of humor). Someone that appreciates my sarcastic wit. Someone who is real & comfortable in their own skin. I have little patience for flakes & fakes.
I need someone that I can rely on, someone who, with me, can build a synergistic relationship that will take us to places we've only dreamed about
First date- I would suggest meeting for coffee or a drink to get better acquainted but I would be open to whatever makes you comfortable.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I wish you the best of luck in your quest for companionship and love.

Meet men and women from California, United States. OK, getting this part out of the way up front for those who are skeptical of “Currently Separated”: I’m legally separated, and there are no emotional ties or chance of reconciliation. If there were, I wouldn’t be on Match. The divorce is taking awhile to be final, but I’m eager to move ahead with my life, so here I am.
I consider myself to be intelligent, affectionate, funny, and forgiving, and I appreciate all of those qualities in a woman, too. I’m not perfect, and don’t expect you to be. I want a woman who is adorable because I want to adore her, But I would like a woman who recognizes and can admit to her own imperfections. It shows strength, not weakness. And I want a woman who prioritizes not so much me, but us. Also on the plus side would be a woman who is energetic, kind, and sexy. I’m looking for a long term thing. I wanna be crazy in love, eventually, but I’m fine with taking it slowly at first.
There are certain things about the single life that I enjoy. For example, having a limited number of pillows on the bed, all of which are fully functional as head-cushioning devices sans embroidery, tassels, or ruffles, suits me just fine. The throw pillows have all been thrown.
On the other hand, having a wonderful woman in my life would be pretty great, too. I miss curling up next to someone on the couch at the end of a long day, laughing at Modern Family together, or just talking while I massage her neck. The day to day joy of being with a person who I can't wait to see, and she me.
A little background: Originally from the mid-west (Chicago), I lived in Taiwan for part of my childhood and high school, went to college in Indiana, and have been in SoCal since then.
I am an engineer, but not the real nerdy kind. Not that there isn’t a certain amount of nerdy in there – there most assuredly is – but I try to keep it in check. My job involves testing cars and various advanced safety technologies. It’s interesting and I generally like it, but if I won the lottery, no doubt they’d hear me slamming the door on my way out and a quickly fading “yabadabadoooooo”.
I struggled with deciding what my hair color is. From my perspective, it’s still blonde. But my sisters say it’s far more white than blonde. WhatEVERRRR. I’m going with blonde, dammit.
Favorite things to do, hot spots - that stuff is listed below – but here’s the thing. It’s less about what I do or where I go, and more about with whom I’m doing it. I’d rather go shopping (not an activity of which I’m generally too fond) with the woman of my dreams than go golfing at Pebble Beach with some boring person. OK, now that I think about it, that might be pushing it, but you get the idea.
I love movies. I prefer ones where you don’t basically know the ending from the get go. It’s surprising how many movies that rules out.
For the most part, I’m not very artistic, but I enjoy the arts, and I’ll happily go to the theatre, concerts, museums, etc. I may not quite understand why the ballerina keeps spinning around after she just found out that her lover died, but I’m open to the possibility that you can explain it to me.
I have two boys, 15 and 16. They are excellent sons and will be wonderful adults. I enjoy spending time with them and realize that it will only be for a few more years that I’ll have the opportunity to see them on an (almost) daily basis. But I have plenty of time in my life that I want to share with the right woman.
I like to work out, but I far prefer competitive sports like tennis or basketball over my exercise bike. Unfortunately, I more often find time for the latter than the former. C'est la vie. Anyway, my pictures are recent and I am the age shown, for what it’s worth.
