My two awesome sisters are among my closest friends. Newly learned this year: Home remodels can spread across your home like an oil-rubbed bronze, Silken Pine, stained oak virus. On-the-fly adaptability mesmerizes me. I once wrote a fan letter to Bill Watterson, who created Calvin and Hobbes. And he wrote back. Okay, that's an absurd amount of info on me.
I'm at my best with women who are vivacious, curious, and forthright. I hope you find kids hysterical and want some yourself, and that you're a cockeyed optimist who doesn't take herself (or anyone) too seriously. When I was a young kid, I was very cute (what happened), I wanted to play the guitar so my parents bought me a guitar and put me in lessons. All I wanted to do is play Eagles songs but the instructor said that is many years away, their songs are very difficult and he made me play things like Michael rowed his boat ashore (or is it rode, not sure if mike was a passenger in the boat or the skipper) (booooring) so I gave up the guitar, therefore, now I'm not cool and not on the road touring with my band sleeping with tons of hot groupies; so you won't have to worry about that with me, I won't be on the road sleeping with groupies.

When I am not working/training, I am a busy Mom. My son and I might be hitting up the numerous parks in LA, or bicycling, or exercising down at the beach. We might be visiting with family members, or close friends, or may be driving between karate, gymnastics or play-dates. The drum circle at Venice beach is always fun, as well as the people-watching there. Then of course, there are the baths, and books, and bedtime........yay, sleep........zzzzz.
I used to race my bike, my R1 or my GSXr, through the mountains. I used to train long hours in the martial arts, even played beach volleyball at night down at the beach. I traveled to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Los Cabos, Europe, the Orient! I excelled at pretty much every sport, and was always out and about --- but now that I have a child, and am a single Mom with less free time on my hands, I admit, I have had to slow down a bit......but I wouldn't change my "new" life for the world. I still love and need adventure, adrenaline rushes (just signed up for a Trapeze class next week), and playing and training hard, it's just taken up different forms. Other passions of mine are: chocolate, cuddling up with my little man (or big man), watching good movies; dining out, (especially for Sushi and Indian food), staying up on current events, doing my part to help the environment, cooking and baking (salmon, sushi, fudge, and bar cookies!), learning anything new, meeting interesting people, spending time with family and friends, reading (if I can do that without falling asleep), listening to music, and of course, exercising every day and living a healthy and happy life.
