Meet a soulmate from California, United States. OK, ---i'm a fifty year old man trapped in a 25 year old body... or is the the other way around?! I'd like to think that my body is that of a twenty five year old, and I KNOW that my spirit is that of one. I have coached over forty baseball, soccer, and basketball teams over the past 12 years, and love being around our youth. On any given weekend over the past 8 years, my home has been filled with 8-30 kids playing pool, foosball, air hockey, and pinball in the game room. It is always the gathering place of the high school kids, and I love it!
About me: I am a guy who enjoys spontaneity. It's a blast to call at 3:00 on a Friday afternoon and escape to Vegas, the mountains, or Palm Springs with an hours notice! Don't worry, we'll buy swim suits there! I also love to plan extravagant events. I have spent up to a week planning dates containing day long scavenger hunts for goodies and events i.e... flower shops, massages, meals, pre-bought shopping gifts. The more grand the adventure, the more fun it is! I believe in "balance" in life. In business, I am a top producer in my industry, but at the same time, I have coached all of both my sons youth sports teams, never missed a school conference, talent show, school production, or awards banquet. In addition to work and coaching, I have been on the PTA board, Baseball and Soccer board, President of the High School Booster Club, and won the Honorary Service Award in Redondo Beach. I rebuilt the baseball fields at a local park, created a kickball field at the elementary school, established and ran a school track meet, created and ran a school carnival. I am a do-it yourself guy. I built a large part of my house, built some of my furniture, and have laid all my tile and hardwood floors, or should I say installed?!?! I have played adult softball, soccer, and basketball. Softball ended when I broke my collar bone, and soccer ended when I broke my nose, and simulated sky diving ended when I cracked a vertebrae, (the worst part is that I was sober!!, not the sharpest knife in the drawer) Living 2 blocks from the beach, I crave the ocean, riding waves, scuba diving, and biking on the strand.
I enjoy going out for a fancy dinner, as well as making mac and cheese! My Sunday morning waffles with fresh strawberries are irresistable! My latest passion is good wine, or even bad wine! WARNING----I have to admit, I may have an addiction to diet coke, ... maybe that explains the fast talking, driving, thinking, and fast most everything... I'll have to put my man card on the shelf, as I mention that I enjoy romantic comedies. I listen to all kinds of music from blues, to rock to even James Taylor. (no Bieber!! maybe a case of bangs envy, or just hair envy!) Just got back from Jazz Fest in New Orleans (give Honey Island Swamp Band a listen).
My idea of a great day is any kind of adventure, Just being with a loved one, or an entire day chill in out with that special person. I've been told I have a quick wit and am a half wit.. sometimes in the same statement. I've been told that I am much more attractive in person than in pictures, so put on your Cabernet goggles and give me a chance!!! By day, a professional triathlon / cycling coach & personal trainer with specialist strength & conditioning certifications. Owner of two companies, one of which is my own athlete performance center in Hermosa Beach. We currently have 30 clients, mostly mid-life women running marathons, competing in triathlons, swimming long distance races. I'm proud of my ladies they are inspiring! During the summer I coach one of those large charity triathlon teams, this year I have 65 triathletes training for a big race in September.
Just as much as I like riding my bike and swimming in the ocean, I'm equally comfortable going to art galleries, museums, movies, concerts and anything that involves some form of culture and/or intelligent thought process. I do not pretend or play games and having hailed from the east coast (NJ) I have what I consider to be hard core values. My parents were married for over forty years and ultimately fulfilled their vows. Ideally, I would love to meet someone from back east (or anywhere else that's grounded) who understands what I mean by that. I spend considerable time in No Cal (Sac Area) and Seattle and when it comes to matters of the heart, I would consider all the possibilities..
