I was born and raised in Ohio, and after spending a few years in the South, I moved to LA five years ago. I try to bike or walk everywhere and take advantage of all that the city offers. I eat out, visit galleries and museums, attend lectures, go to movies, hang out in dive bars, shop, and just walk down the busy streets or sit in a cafe or in a park and watch the people. I also explore different neighborhoods, try new restaurants, and talk to people who are cool and passionate about things. I like nothing more than to just get lost somewhere new and see what I discover. As much as I enjoy being out and about, I'm also perfectly happy at home and can really enjoy a lazy day doing nothing. I'm a pretty good cook and enjoy trying to learn and get better
Travel is one of my greatest joys, and I've been lucky to go on some incredible trips the last few years. I absolutely love to see new places, experience different cultures, try new foods, and see beautiful parts of the world. I’m also pretty outdoorsy, and try to get on a trail, by the water, to the ski slope, or away from the city whenever I can. I've been a swimmer my whole life, and am happiest when I'm around water-- swimming, sailing, trying to surf, or just sitting on the beach reading a book, playing volleyball, walking or riding bikes. I ski, hike, backpack and get to the mountains whenever I can, too. I love sports, and try to be active and participate in as many as possible. I am still a pretty passionate fan of my pro Cleveland teams, but there nothing better then spending a day at Dodger Stadium or watching college football on TV.

I'm a fairly easy going guy and very optimistic about life. I've always felt that since you only have one chance at it, you should make the best out of it. I’m new to LA, mostly by way of The OC, where I spent the majority of my life. A new job brought me here – I work in public relations – and have settled in nicely so far in Santa Monica. But I thought to myself, wouldn’t this new chapter be more fun with someone special?
I’m fairly laid back, but will stand up for what’s right. Humor and adventure are key words that help describe my personality. And I love short walks on the beach ;)

Meet someone special from California, United States. I'm very spontaneous and like to live my life that way. So I apologize in advance for this rambling and poorly structured segment about myself. There are no specific things that I am looking for in my ideal mate. I guess honesty and a woman who is comfortable being them self would be greatly appreciated.
