I am a hard working girl that wants to be extraordinary rather than ordinary. I know what is important in life and I always try to do my best. I make mistakes, I am not near perfect, and I am definitely stubborn, but I always try to do better and to be better. I have a good sense of humor and sometimes I can be goofy. I like to play practical jokes but I know my limitations. Just to warn you, sometimes I can also be a little nerdy; I can't help it, I am an engineer. This year I am doing things that I normally wouldn’t do. This means taking chances and stepping outside of my comfort zone. GO BIG! I don’t want to waste my time focusing on the trivial things in life because they are meaningless. This goes back to the question, “how do we create meaning?” Someone once told me, if something isn’t difficult then what is the point of doing it? He was right in that if something is easy then it has no meaning. So, this year I am trying to focus on the important things in life--the things that give my life meaning. And, having someone to share the journey with would definitely be a plus. I would like a partner in crime, a teammate, and a companion. Someone that will make my life sweeter--and not bitter sweet. I am not looking for someone that is perfect. I am looking for someone that is perfect for me, and likes me for me...just the way I am. :)

I grew up in the bay area, moved up to Chico for college and stayed there for a good while after. I moved back down to San Jose two years ago for graduate school. I recently completed my Master's in Social Work with an emphasis in Health (so I have been working in a medical setting and plan to continue). I'm in the process of applying for jobs throughout the bay area- hoping to end up somewhere between SJ and SF. School has been a long process but I'm loving being able to relax and have a little balance in life again.
