Born in Asia, I grew up in the Southern part of the US and migrated to Orange County, California after I completed my undergraduate study. As you can imagine, I have "southern belle" mixed with fun filled California girl, blended with some Asian traditions, topping off with Western modern twists.
In addition to happy, confident and independent, I'm easy going, optimistic, inquisitive, sociable and genuine. Early 20s were a time of self-discovery and there is always still more to go. I'm now at a point in my life where I am happy in my personal life as well as in my work. I have strong sense of self and purpose, hold strong personal values, and determined to live this fruitful life to see where it will take me and who I will have the pleasure to share this sweet life with. A few things I enjoy: intellectual conversation over coffee, read, travel, volunteer work, play music, try new restaurants, and discover new places. I love sushi, but also really enjoy American, French, Italian, Mexican, Cuban, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, fusion food, love French music but appreciate everything from hip hop to jazz and anything else in between in almost any music genre...country, classical, adult alternative, rock, R&B, folk, soul, and love independent films, but appreciate thought provoking drama movies, good comedies, foreign films.
I'm interested in meeting a person who has characteristics of honesty, integrity, kindness, intelligence, with a sense of humor. Did I mention sense of humor? Yup! My definition of a la dolce vita include lots of laughter.
My parents have been married for 40 years. I would like to meet someone who believes in love, understands the importance of communication in a relationship, recognize that it's worthwhile to put it all on the line, have each other's best interest at heart, want to challenge and inspire each other to grow, live better, become better people.
