Date a soulmate from Napa, United States. I am gennerally a happy person, I handle stress and pressure very well but I like to have a good time when I'm off the clock. I like to hang out with my girlfriends, see a movie, go to dinner. The usual stuff. Sometimes curling up with a good book for hours will make me the most happy, and sometimes I need a distraction.
I love to laugh and so I prefer to watch only happy movies. I don't like to be scared and I don't do roller coasters, my life is enough of one already! I like to think I am very independant and I have no regretes. I do not focus on other peoples opinions of me and am very comfortable in my own skin; althought I am still trying to figure out who I am, but aren't we all?
I guess thus far I have lead a fairly sequestered life. So, I am looking for new experiences, I would love to travel, anywhere! . I have only been to states immidiatly surrounding Ca. and Hawaii. I would love to visit the South, New England, anywhere tropical. Although I prefer places with water, I have been known to hang out in the desert from time to time.
What makes me smile? Well, I'm an educator at heart, so I guess when I see the lightbulb go on for someone else.... That "ah hah" moment. It's the little things. I'm really a pretty simple girl, just trying to be as happy as possible.

I've recently graduated from Sonoma State University with a B.A. Degree in Creative Writing. I'm currently working on a novella which was previously a short story while going back to college to attain a business degree.
I love to have fun wherever I go. I love being outdoors, one of my favorite outdoor activities is to go hiking, and I don't mind getting my hands dirty, and exploring beaches. I also love a good challenge. Sports is a huge passion of mine, I grew up loving and watching them, football, hockey, and basketball are my top 3 sports. I am a hopeless romantic and enjoy a good love story every now and then. Cooking is also a passion of mine, I like to come up with different recipes and see what I can do with them.
I love romantic surprises and when a guy opens my doors for me without even being asked to. Also I like it when a guy isn't afraid to show his sensitive side; as well as his goofy/dorky side. I like guys to be comfortable around me; where they are completely secure with who they are.
Also guys who like to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, basically a guy who can keep up with me(haha). I like to date guys that have goals and aspirations for their future. Guys that are intelligent, who loves sports, are career driven; well-spoken, a good head on their shoulders; a guy that basically knows what he wants out life; and is motivated. I also like it when guys are straight forward and don't play games with your head and heart.
Although I grew up with country music, I love all other kinds of music. Ranging from jazz to hip-hop/rap. Ranging from Bob Marley to John Mayer, to Josh Turner, to Jay-z. I like reading the classics like Jane Austen, Louisa May Alcott, Shakespeare, Fitzgerald, the list goes on and on. I like also like reading modern/contemporary books. I also love buying cookbooks :-)
I absolutely LOVE horror/scary movies, I for some weird reason love to get scared. Although I do like to watch "chick flicks" I also like to watch action movies as well.
I really like all types of food, but my two all-time favorites are Indian and Mexican food.
