I guess I'd describe myself as a pretty simple person... I believe in good old-fashioned values such as honesty (this is huge for me), loyalty, and doing the right thing - even when no one's looking. I really do believe that you get out of, what you put into things. I tend to surround myself with people who are positive, supportive and open-minded. Ideally I see myself in a relationship with someone who believes in good communication; can appreciate their partners strengths and compliment their weaknesses; someone who likes to laugh and tries to see the best in a situation.
I feel that to have good friends, you need to be a good friend - and I apply that same principle to all of my relationships. I'm a good girl (most of the time), and really dislike drama. I have been given many blessings in my life and am accutely aware of the fact that due to various socio-economic issues there are many who haven't benefited from those same things.
The way I see the world has been shaped by my family, experiences and my faith. I grew up with a strong Christian foundation and while my theology has become significantly more liberal over the years, I maintain a very deep faith in God and would like to share this with my partner as well.

I need to be challenged, encouraged, motivated and deeply loved by my partner and I want to do those things for him as well.
