Date a man from West Los Angeles, United States. Hello… What have we here?
I see this only as a venue for us to connect where we wouldn’t normally run across each other in day-to-day life. Me: Tall, dark, and handsome; even-tempered, playful, affectionate, with a goofy to witty sense of humor; and can banter back and forth. Not to mention the pretty blue eyes...
My biggest hobby and passion that has dominated my life for the past year and a half is Star Wars - I’m a total geek for it. And it is the reason I have just moved to Los Angeles from Seattle. The Star Wars Saga is a great modern mythology that really resonates with the most basic aspects of humanity, and the fan community really is a great group of people. My enthusiasm has been growing steadily over the last 15 years. I collect the fine artwork (not so much the toys), have gone to conventions, have made costumes, etc. My newest project has been producing a 35-minute SW-related short film. I’ve been working with a great group of professionals filmmakers who share the same passion for Star Wars, and I decided I needed to be here to continue working on our other projects, help build the production company, etc. So at the end of April I picked up my life and relocated it and my day job here. The film project has been one of the best things I’ve ever been involved in and it has already afforded opportunities I never thought I would get.
Star Wars is just one of my particular eccentricities that I hope you can appreciate as you will have to deal with it. So, what is your hobby or passion - a TV or book series, movie genre, or franchise that you really get into?
Other interests - I am a big skier – at least a trip to Whistler B.C. every season. I will need to explore the CA resorts next season. I have a small cabin on 5 acres up in the mountains near Seattle that I spent the last few years building by hand from scratch. I kayak, roller blade, shoot pool, go see local rock bands, and like to watch NFL football. I enjoy pulling off surprises. I can cook/grill a good meal when spending the time (or someone) is worth it. And I make a pretty epic weekend breakfast… The old standard of curling up with a cute girl in front of a good movie always makes for time well spent. And no, I won’t make you watch Star Wars every time… I may suggest it first though. For something a little more interactive, how about old-school board games or Xbox? (I cannot claim hardcore gamer status though)
An interest in these activities is great, but it's not a deal-breaker, well, maybe except for Star Wars… Maybe you do something cool you want to introduce me to?
Day-job - I have done very well for myself as a Mechanical Engineer, with still lots of potential ahead of me in that field. Have a pretty sweet job that gives me lots of flexibility and has allowed me to travel - and now relocate here to our local office. We'll see how this Hollywood stuff plays out but things are already taking off...
As far as the type of woman that interests me, it's totally relative. I like the girl-next-door, pretty, natural look. Jeans and boots, or a skirt and heels will get me every time. Bonus points for anything European, freckles, geeky culture, cosplay, skiing, the ability to crush my fragile male ego in a good competition, or being of the opinion that Han shot first. Everyone has their quirks and it’s interesting to see how those quirks interact. But again, it's all relative...
Meet people from West Los Angeles, United States. I enjoy being outdoors, riding my bike, camping/backpacking, playing guitar, barbecuing with friends, debating nonsense, drinking a good craft beer, stuff like that. I have started reading a lot again in the past few years only to find that people don't read anymore, which is too bad in my opinion because there is so much good stuff out there. I typically like books on religion, science and finance, or fiction that comes recommended from a trusted source like NPR or my sister. I make an exception for Dan Brown because he is so terrible that he sustains my fantasy of one day writing for a living.
The older I get the more convinced I am that my parents are saints even though we're not Catholic. They're pretty much the best people I know, plus they're seriously hilarious. I have a younger sister that I am close with. I have a handful of really good friends that are like family to me. I make a comfortable living, but I can't say I'm passionate about my work.
I'm looking for someone who is smart, cares about what's going on in the world and has limited baggage. By that I mean pretty much carry on only, if you have to check in I'm not sure it's going to work out. I'm looking for a serious relationship but not with someone super serious, if you can't laugh at yourself then we're not likely to get a long.

I am a tall guy and stand at about 6’5” and am slim. Fitness is big to me…I work out about 5 days a week. I live in Los Angeles in Westwood with my good friend. I look younger then my age as well. Most of my friends are younger then me.
I love watching movies - within a week late, I watch about 6 movies at night. I have two degrees, one for the arts, and one for film and media. Really love playing video games as well. I have a PS3, Wii, 360 and PSP and DS.
Other then movies I love going on adventures - if anything comes up with traveling I am off. I have traveled all over the world and have been traveling world wide from the age of 15.
I think its super cool to travel and see different parts of the world all over. I would like to work out of the USA for a year or maybe longer in the film biz.
I really love to make people laugh, and even though I don’t try to make people laugh I seem to anyways. I think everyone should have a smile at least once a day.
If you ever meet me you’ll know right away that I like to chat - I’m a big people person -over all I have lots of friends and like having as many as I can get.
Things I’m looking for:
Well, Its no secret I love Asian women - don’t know, been that way from a kid and most of my friends are Asian or from other parts of the world. Really like Italian women as well or from Europe.
The truth be told I love a girl with a wild side and a little kinky and not a prude when it comes to sex. I don’t need to spell this out, but I’m a shy guy so it takes me awhile to make a move.
I’ll talk to anyone and am down for meeting them if they’re nice. If you email me I’ll always get back to you
Really love smart women as well as fit. My mom tells me you can’t get both but I think you can.
I would like to meet people worldwide as well as locally.
Want to meet someone who is nice, likes to travel, watch movies, plays video games, is a rounded nice person, and not closed minded
Find people that have strength where I am weak
Meet a soulmate from West Los Angeles, United States. I am the eternal optimist, always the positive thinker. My Dad taught me that you can make anything happen if you just try and that's been my attitude since day one; whether that means excelling in my career, working hard on something physically or academically demanding, planning a new adventure or meeting new friends; my feelings are that anything is possible. As a result, I'm a very outgoing, fun and passionate girl who enjoys family, friends, traveling and keeping busy.
I ran cross country and track in high school and college so I like to stay active, but in a moderate way to keep me in shape since I have so many other interests. I've done a few marathons and now do two or three triathlons each year for fun. Triathlon training keeps me outdoors and enjoying our amazing SoCal weather! I don't mind the gym, but I'd rather be hiking, biking, running, swimming, skiing, snowboarding or doing some sort of other activity outside.
While I enjoy being active, I also like to take it down a notch to just visit with friends and/or cook an amazing meal and drink a great bottle of wine or glass of beer over incredible conversation. On the weekends, I like to unwind with friends and hang out on the westside. I'm definitely not into the Hollywood club scene and prefer the much more mellow places/restaurants of the westside and south bay. I'm also a lover of sports especially football. In the fall, my biggest passion is USC football, we've had our ups and downs, but we keep fighting through it. I also love watching pro football. Sometimes I find myself watching whatever game is on just to enjoy the strategy of the game. If I don't favor either team, I usually root for the underdogs. Always the optimist!
I'm also a California native, originally from Newport Beach. No matter how far away I've traveled or lived, I always love coming home to the beautiful California coast.
All in all, I love my life, but I'm looking for someone I can really connect with and and learn from, a man who would love to do some of these things with me, but who also has their own interests and passions.
If you like what you've heard then go ahead send me a wink or email.
Date people from West Los Angeles, United States. I was born in India, but raised in Northern Minnesota. I have traveled extensively and have lived in various parts of the world. I read quite a bit, so another reader might be nice but, really, I am not trying to narrow down what I am looking for too much. Everyone has something interesting to bring to the table. I would just like to meet a gentle-natured man who takes care of himself, respects his family, interacts responsibly with the opposite sex, and flosses regularly.
