Meet men and women from California, United States. WHO AM I???
When I was a little girl, I would watch "The Wizard of Oz" over and over...to this day it is my all-time favorite! I was also extremely shy, so shy that I could barely stay through an entire dance class because I didn't want to leave my mom's side. Who would have thought one day I would become a sales rep, and it was one of my best experiences ever because I really enjoy meeting new people, challenging myself, and the ability to walk into a new place every day and meet total strangers is almost effortless. Who would have also thought dancing has become one of my favorite hobbies, I can't go to enough Zumba classes and I also take a Salsa lesson from time to time...cha cha cha! I took piano lessons for 7 years, and more often than not tell myself I need to get back into it! During highschool I ran track and cross country, and thereafter became an avid runner, joined Team in Training (volunteering for charities also one of my passions), and through that program, completed 1 marathon and 9 half marathons. I do not run much anymore, but am so grateful I accomplished those goals. Staying active will always be a part of my life, whether it be walking on a trail, hiking, yoga/pilates, and of course, Zumba classes. :)
Beyond all this, I am very close with my family....My parents have been married for 41 years, and of course nothing is perfect, but I admire their support for each other through life's trials, and hope to have a lasting marriage one day. As an example of my relationship with my family, at the end of my sister's wedding reception, one of the songs they chose was a "new" version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," of course being from my fav movie, and just feeling all emotions running through me seeing my sister get married, the videographer caught me on video totally bawling.....yes, pretty embarrassing, but kind of touching too. Cooking is also one of my hobbies, moreso for friends and family, and I have been told my meatloaf and mashed potatoes are pretty tasty. The beach will always be my favorite place to visit (you can't beat Waikiki beach!).... you can seriously throw me on a beach and I am a happy camper! Speaking of happy camper, I also like camping too!
