Date single man from California, United States. I have been living in the Bay Area for the last five years. I moved back to California after finishing grad school on the east coast (where I was also born and raised).
I really enjoy traveling and have managed to sneak away for a few short adventures. So far, I’ve had the chance to explore parts of China and the Middle East. Camping in Western Desert among the wind sculpted rock formations, hiking around the Siq in Jordan, and bartering at Khan el-Khalili were pretty amazing experiences. I'd also really like to see more of the US!
I enjoy cooking and wines. Luckily, I had the chance to briefly explore some of those interests while I was at school. Now that school's out, I'm enjoying taking more non-career related courses... just following wherever my interests take me!
As for my ideal match, since everyone is different, I’ll try not stick too rigidly to any set of characteristics that would make my ideal match. Suffice it to say, as long as you’ve got a good heart, are trustworthy, and can hold up your end of the conversation, I’d say we’re off to a great start!

Well in a nutshell, I love to live life as much as possible. I love to laugh and make others laugh. I'm totally laid back while I'm out and about. Anything to laugh and not take myself to seriously. I'm a die hard Washington State Cougar football fan (played football there as well in college), love the outdoors in the summertime, and love going out for a night on the town - happy hours, movies, restaurants etc... I love to travel and go away whenever i have the chance. I'm extremely honest, almost to a fault, and will usually say what's on my mind (gets me into trouble sometimes). Really, I'm easy going and laid back when not at work. I just like to Live. That's it. Gimme Sunshine, a pool and a margarita or a mojito and I'm good to go.
I do work for a very hot start up right now, at which i was a founding member. So that's a very important part of my life. While there's nothing more I like than relaxing - there are times I just cannot. I think this is one of the hard parts for any significant others in my life to get at times.
All I'm really looking for is someone who is confident in them self, likes to laugh, has a good smile (always a must), likes to stay in, or go out .. whatever the whim of the day is, enjoys traveling or at least wants to travel, has a sense of humor and is optimistic about life... I hate that FML stuff... its all about LML :)
