Date someone special from California, United States. I have a passion for travel, and just returned home from an epic 14 month, 50 county adventure motorcycling and backpacking my way around the world. I had lived in Seattle for the last 4 years previously, but after chasing the sun around the world, I woke up one day and decided if I had go back to work, it was at least going to be somewhere warm and sunny. I found a nice job in Carmel, and here I am. I'm quickly falling in love with the area, but meeting people is a bit tricky around here.
My friends would probably describe me as fun, adventurous, intelligent, laid back, and a little bit goofy. I'm a very optimistic, happy go lucky person. I love meeting new people, but I'm pretty shy until I get to know you; then I'll talk your ear off.
I'm very outdoorsy and usually try to get out in nature at least a couple times a week. I'm really looking forward to exploring all of the beautiful coastal trails, roads, beaches, and dive sites here in the Monterey Peninsula. I have a chocolate Lab named Bailey who is usually along for the ride.
When I'm not outdoors thing I love having friends over and cooking for them, BBQing trying new restaurants, watching college football (Go Ducks!), and seeing good live music.

Someone who is equally comfortable at the top of a mountain in a driving wind as sitting in the front row at a Broadway musical. Someone who loves to talk for hours about random things and laugh a lot. Someone who believes the journey in life is just as important as the destination. I recently moved to San Diego from Los Angeles, but If you were to ask my friends in Los Angeles, they would describe me as affectionate, caring, ambitious, loyal, faithful, communicative, and athletic. They would tell you that I have a sarcastic sense of humor (the good kind, not the bitter, cutting kind). I am passionate about good music, intelligent conversation, delicious food, modern art and architecture. I am open-minded and straightforward. The only "games" that I know involve some sort of a ball, a plastic disc, or a cardboard that you sit around and move tiny little pieces based on the whims of a plastic dice. I wear my skin comfortably and with confidence around me. I am the sort of person who would be comfortable walking in a room full of strangers and making a few good friends at the end of the event. I don't do clubs; dive bars, and live music is where you will find me on the nights that I do decide to go out on an urban prowl. MUSIC is a huge part of my life, and I can't live without it; fodder for the soul.
I am a poet, and so I feel deeply, and am very passionate about the people in my life and my intellectual and physical pursuits. I enjoy charcoal sketching, and making music with my friends. I get excited about USC football during fall season. I have been practicing Vinyasa and Anusara yoga for three years. I also regularly work out at the gym. I enjoyed my hikes in the Santa Monica hills (they are not mountains folks) while I was living in Los Angeles. I will have to explore and find some new trails in San Diego. I don't expect my partner to embrace all of my activities. If we have some similar interests, then I believe that that's a great start.
In my partner I value independence and individuality. You should be smart, honest, empathetic, humorous, educated, well-read, athletic, fit, healthy (mind, body, spirit), affectionate, caring, open-minded, and ambitious. I like a woman who has her life together and knows what she wants. I understand that we all have some baggage from our past. Some have heavy ones, while others have small carry-ons, or have learned to shed the extra weight, and travel light. I am in the latter category.

Date a soulmate from California, United States. hi there - i'm on here because i'm hoping to meet someone special. just like all of us :) i spend my weekdays selling things to older white men (wait, that came out wrong). when i'm not working, i'm usually doing something fun. imagine that. i love to run, play tennis, surf (its not pretty), and hang out with my friends, drink wine, watch silly movies, etc. etc.
conversation is very attractive to me, and i tend to get along well with successful, professional guys who can talk, match my wit, make me laugh, tease me, flirt well....i've always wanted that type of relationship where you can snuggle on the couch and just be quiet with one another, and also spend time with friends around an outdoor fire, or outside on a patio restaurant somewhere. sounds so cliche, but it is so hard to find. surely there's a guy out there who likes to be passionate, flirt like crazy, make out, lay in the sand/grass, but who i can also take with me to fancy business dinners i somehow get myself invited to. i can definitely switch gears from designer dresses and heels to flip flops and off the shoulder sweaters. so, he's out there, too, right? well , maybe not the heels part...;-p

i'm short, petite, currently have dark hair (otherwise its blonde. the profile picture is 2 months old), and all original parts. i run enough mileage to keep myself competitive in the dating game (i've done a bunch of marathons and long course triathlons) - physical attraction is important so i'll tell you that i'm a size 4, fair skin and a small waist. the rest you can see for yourself if we get together :). but, enough about me. let's talk about what you think about me ;-p
