Date men and women from California, United States. Hi, I'm Allison! I'm orginally from Austin, TX hence the ATX screen name but am currently living in north Napa Valley while I attend the Culinary Institute of America. Back in TX I owned 3 businesses, personal training, personal chef/caterer and yoga instructor. Currently when I'm not in class, I am a catering my own event or working as a winery chef. Yes first bonus to dating me is discount wine! So between all that and taking care of my personal business I have very little time to go out and meet people outside of my circle. I also want to spend my limited free time with people who are engaging and fun. I graduate from school in October and am not sure where my next step might be so I'm really not looking for anything too serious but I'm definitely not closed off to the possibility, because who know what can happen in life.
As far as my personality goes I'm kind of a walking contradiction. I am a personal trainer yet one of my passions/jobs is specialty baking. I'm really goofy (I was the high school mascot) yet I am obsessed with NPR. I love getting dressed up and looking/acting girly but I can operate power tools, change a tire and camp with the best of them,.All very helpful skills I aquired being raised by my amazing father. I love high-end events and art shows but raised hogs in high school, was Ms FFA and can country dance all night. I might be pretty but I was a super nerd growing up, went to Space Camp, have a degree in computer science and can hook up my own electronic kind of nerd
So now on to the important stuff, what I am looking for and a few thing I'm NOT looking for.
Looking for: funny, educated, well-read, active, TALL, good-looking, opinionated, well-rounded, open minded, confident, sexy, good kisser, not to serious, fashionable & good conversationalist.
OK so this may be a little harsh but I've think I need to put out there what will not work with me &/or my lifestyle.
If you eat fast food more than a few times a year because I haven't eaten it in at least 5 years. I want a burger it's gonna be a good burger from Nopa not some crap from a drive-thru. On that same note, if you are a picky eater...ummmm...not gonna work because I will admit I'm a food snob and yes as an adult you HAVE TO eat your vegetables and try new things.
If you watch TV excessively, I don't own a TV but do LOVE sports & movies.
If you are under 6'1", sorry boys, I'm 5'9" & I wear HIGH heels.
If you don't workout MOST days of the week. I workout or do some activity, swimming, running, biking, ect, 6 days a week. It's a HUGE part of my life and I need someone to shares that passion. You must be in good if not great shape, for slightly superficial reasons (gotta be attracted to you) and mostly for general health reason.
If you are socially conservative. I was raised by and artist in Austin and am very open-minded to everyone and love passionate discussions about politics but if you voted for Bush the 2nd time likelihood is I'm not sleeping with you, LOL. Fiscal conservatism I understand far easier...I actually lean more on the Liberation point of view usually.
