I am very comfortable in my own skin. I've also been through the giant rock tumbler of life a few times, which has polished off the rough edges and given me a pretty thorough understanding of how I tick and what I need/want. My friends are very dear to me. I have accumulated a great group of people to hang out with and I love having them over for parties. I recently threw a 1970's themed potluck. People decided to dress up in horrible polyester outfits. I decided to wear a "lovely" green polyester dress myself (see photo). It was so much fun!
I am extroverted, but also enjoy time to myself. I grew up in an fairly isolated area of Montana, which made me independent and resourceful. It also means I appreciate nature and the outdoors, hence I donate to animal and environmental charities.
I have a very dry, quirky sense of humor. It's actually a bit difficult for me to fill out this form without letting it run wild, but I understand that dry humor does not always translate well on paper, so I shall restrain myself. Sigh! I love, love, love comedy and good sitcoms (which are few and far between).
I am a bit nerdy. My degrees are in Statistics and Economics, and I used to write SAS programs if that means anything to you. I have worked at analytical software companies for the past 12-13 years now.
Final bit of trivia: I've been on Oprah and in an opera (and I don't sing). Oh, and I did competitive Scottish highland dance between the ages of 29 -36 (I'm not Scottish, but did say I was a nerd-ish). Great exercise, but I can't say as I have had the need to do the sword dance since.

I always strive to be beautiful on the inside and confident in who I am as a woman. I am affectionate, passionate, quiet and reserved at times, yet outspoken and outgoing at others. I am open, honest, have a peaceful soul and a kind, loyal heart. I'm successful, stable and mature; IРІР‚в„ўm well past the wild party-girl thing. (Hello 40РІР‚в„ўs!) That doesnРІР‚в„ўt mean that I donРІР‚в„ўt cut loose or donРІР‚в„ўt know how to have fun. Quite the opposite actually! I tend to be rather spontaneous when it comes to fun and excitement. But overall what I enjoy the most is to spend quality time in the company of good friends and family. The simple things in life are more important to me these days.
As for what I am looking for, can I just tell you that I am looking for the same things as the other women here ... someone who is funny that makes me laugh and so on and so forth? I do love a good sense of humor! But to be more specific, I am waiting for God's best ... a man of integrity, honor, and Godly character ... someone who values and demonstrates transparency and authenticity in his walk as a Christian and in relationships with others. My guy must be honest, genuine, kind, respectful, intelligent, trustworthy, emotionally stable, and a lover of life. He should be confident in who he is, what he wants out of life and, therefore, what he wants and needs out of a relationship. Just so you know what I won't tolerate: I'm not interested in players, liars, games, or men who want to be friends with benefits. I'm looking for something authentic. While I'm independent out of necessity, I would love a man in my life to rely on (I am a bit traditional that way), and especially a man with whom to share both the big and small things in life. I would like to meet a man who complements my personality and brings out the best in me.
