Date single man from Point Richmond, United States. I am in the process of divorcing, the papers are with the court and there is no drama. I have been living separate for more than a year and in my own place since July '11.
I am a SF native. I grew up in So. Cal. spending all the time I could at the beach. I came back to the bay area in the mid seventies to pursue a career in photography. In 1980 I changed direction and have been doing what I do now for almost 32 years. Minus the 3 years ('95-'98) that my daughter and I spent exploring Central and South America on our sailboat.
Some of the things that I have been told about myself that I can repeat....I am thoughtful, reliable, generous, a romantic, affectionate, sensual, a good friend, a hard worker, the best dad, a good cook and that I can be pretty darn funny. I will get great pleasure in hearing your laugh.......be it with me or because of me.
How do I see myself?.........I'm an honest, caring and responsible man. When I commit to a relationship I am in all the way. I don't continue to look around. I have a quirky, slightly warped sense of humor.........not too much is sacred. I can be a bit of a perfectionist at times. If I'm doing something for you chances are you will be satisfied with the finished product. It is important to me to keep my life as uncomplicated as possible. Time off work is time to disconnect from the daily routine. A couple of hours on the bay can do wonders for the psyche. My spiritual journey is ongoing and at times it moves pretty slow, but it does keep moving. This quote from a John Prine song sort of tells how I see myself going through life these days......" I be what I believe in 'bout as often as I can and I maybe can be oftener than most"
I am looking for a woman who is happy with where she is in her life. Someone who is emotionally evolved with the ability to clearly express her feelings and needs. We would have our own passions as well as the ones that develop between us. I want a sweetheart, a best friend, a passionate lover and someone to get a lot older with.
