I seek a stable woman who has established herself in a career who seeks to be in a committed relationship (marriage ok with me if we get to that point). I have a very active life and need a woman who is energetic, takes good care of herself, and loves romance from her partner, can mix into almost any professional group at various functions I need to attend because of my work. I would like her to have as a positive outlook on her life and confidence in herself. Having a good sense of humor is really important (but you do not have to laugh at my stupid jokes!). My needs for time alone are minimal (less than 12 dayweek) and I would like to have a partner who wants to be with me in most everything I do.
My friends describe me as having a passion for my career in orthodontics and for the people I come in contact with. I could never have a partner who was not passionate in love with me and I could not a partner who I did not have passionate love for. My friends have also told me that I am a loyal person who almost never gives up on a good idea or person.
I have 3 grown children. Robbie is the oldest almost 27 and is temporarily living with me until he decides on a new job. He will probably work in sales. My 24 yr daughter Christina is a wonderful lady who also lives with me when she is on break from medical school where she is going into her 3rd year. My youngest from that marriage is Jonny (age 23 who is also looking for a job has been my hardest child to get motivated to find some career. That is a work in progress.
And then there is Marc who is my son from my more recent marriage (we divorced about a year ago) who is an almost 9 yr old barrel of fun and energy. He has a great personality and lives with me 12 time.
I am also a University Professor and Department Chair of Orthodontics at the Univ. of the Pacific (the dental school is located in Pacific Heights on Webster and Sacramento Streets). I also have a small private practice where I do mostly Invisalign. If you Google Invisalign and RL Boyd you will see that I am very active in that area as I helped launch it in 1998 and have liked doing it ever since.
I have traveled a lot around the world because many orthodontists in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and in the Americas are quite interested in Invisalign.
