Date a soulmate from California, United States. -----I don't kiss on the first date, so don't make things awkward for both of us.-----
It's close to sunset. The only thing you were told about the evening was, "Wear a nice dress, heels, and bring a jacket." Your date shows up wearing a suit, pressed shirt, and no tie. You ask yourself, "Where can we be going?"
"You look nice."
"Thank you." I say. "We match. Good job."
We get in the car and are out for the night. You loose yourself talking about your day, when a theatre billboard catches your attention. It's the latest attraction that everyone has been talking about.
"I've been wanting to see that show." you say as the car is parking.
In a teasing way, I say, "That's nice..."
We get out of the car. I take your hand and lead you through crowds of people, lead you to the theatre, and pull out two tickets for the show you just mentioned.
"Is this what we're doing tonight?" I smile, and you smile with your eyes.
We find our seats and the lights dim. The crowd roars, the music plays, and the show begins. We laugh, you cry, and we have a great time.
Hours later we leave the theatre. It's night and the air is crisp. I help you with your jacket and walk around the town. We pass by a quiet wine bar.
"Just one drink?!" you ask.
"Are you trying to get me drunk?" I joke.
"Just one..."
A bottle of wine later, we are laughing and joking. We walk off our wine while you talk about yourself. I listen and learn what makes you tick. As we are walking through a park, you go quiet and look in my eyes.
"Stop looking at me like that."
"Like what?" you ask.
"Like..."
--That's all you get right now
Have you had a date like that recently?
No?
We should talk
