I'm pretty easy-going overall, just trying to make the most of my time while I'm here. I do work hard in my career and enjoy it most of the time, so I try to squeeze in as much as I can outside of that - whether it's a relaxing day around town or a random adventure up the coast. My sense of humor is all over the place and fairly sarcastic, so hopefully yours is as well. To that end I'd like to find someone who is funny, intelligent, who isn't afraid to speak her mind, and won't hesitate to drop a good 'that's what she said' when the opportunity presents itself. Meet single boy from West Los Angeles, United States. My friends and family tend to think I have everything figured out but I would like to think that I have plenty of figuring left to do. (If you are 26 and already know everything you want out of life... please stop reading :).…)This is where I’m at so far:
I grew up under constant heckling from three quirky big sisters… needless to say this has left me with a soft spot for family and a decent sense of humor. My Southern CA roots have predictably made me a fan of sunny weekends: surfing, tennis, golf, sushi, wine, a good Sunday afternoon barbeque, or an occasional impromptu Vegas trip. While I’ve ventured out a bit in my travels and spent a couple great years in San Francisco for work, Southern California will always be home.
I’ve learned to embrace my career…as much as I sometimes share the viewpoints of the brilliant writers of “Office Space”, work is a necessary part of life, so I try to excel at it. Plus it allows my inner nerd to shine. I work in institutional investment consulting down in the South Bay (I know… what the heck does that mean! …. Ask me later if you care, haha) Weeknights are spent getting a drink with friends, an after-work trip to the gym if I’m feeling motivated, the occasional intramural softball game, and of course a relaxing night of quality cable television (I hate the reality TV phenomenon yet find myself addicted to Pawn Stars and Storage Wars lately…. )
In general life is great but someone to share it with is always a bonus. Personality traits that stand out above others for me would be compassion, ambition, and honesty. Most importantly, I’d like to meet someone who makes fun a priority and can laugh often in spite of the challenges that every day brings.
