I like staying active and enjoy many different types of entertainment. While I'm no comedian, I can come up with some funny stuff, and I enjoy a good laugh, whether at a good joke or at myself. I'm going to be making a few major changes in my life over the next couple years. Most significant among them being selling my ranch in N.E. California and leaving the state, possibly to Nevada or Arizona. I've not been happy with California politics for years. If you are liberal in your politics, don't bother responding unless you're ready for many lively debates,which I would totally be up for:-) I'm also planning a cross country motorcycle trip for spring through mid to late summer 2013. Meet a soulmate from California, United States. I travel from time to time between my home in New Mexico and San Diego. I have been traveling out to San Diego for years and just love it so I have decided to consider making it a home. I love Adventure. I live for it!. It could be a road trip down the Pacific Coast highway sightseeing on a Sunday or a trip up to Santa Fe or a full adventure vacation to an exotic location. I traveled alone to Europe many years ago and hitchhiked many Countries meeting people along the way. Ever since, I have had a yearning for adventure, I like to experience different cultures. I took an awesome motorcycle adventure through British Columbia, some of the pictures are of the West Coast and Canadian Rockies and Glaciers in the Beautiful Mountains of British Columbia on that trip.

Date single man from United States. In our youth, we were so full of enthusiasm, so idealistic and so hopeful for our future. We looked forward to a start of a career or had thoughts of an idea that would make us rich. In our social life we dreamt of finding the perfect lifetime mate and raising a family of happy bright kids. For many, these dreams and more were fulfilled, while for others not every goal was achieved. What we didn’t anticipate was how difficult life was going to be; events or circumstances beyond our control would distract us from reaching all our goals. For the most part, I have been very happy and have achieved many of my goals. My two daughters have made me proud with their achievements and developing into responsible adults. My career has been rewarding and fulfilling. There was one misfortune along with these accomplishments that impacted my life to this day. That event was the loss of my wife. I had always imagined we would grow old together and be like my parents celebrating 65 years of being married. It wasn’t meant to be.
So here I am with my daughters living away from home and poor Dad on his own. I still possess much enthusiasm for life but it’s no longer towards my career nor in raising my daughters. The interest now is to take on new hobbies, explore new places and generally enjoyment of life. The new hope is finding someone with a similar goal of new adventures and having fun. When we are capable of doing this the world is transformed. This is what Jesus meant when he said The kingdom of heaven is within us and it is without us. We mostly see our own faults in others and are afraid to see them in ourselves, because this realization hurts.
