It's always amazed me how we all know men/women think with totally different 'operating systems' yet many become upset when the other sex doesn't 'get' them. I beg of you to please understand -- I don't/can't think like a woman. Furthermore, though it's always appreciated when it happens, I don't expect you to think like a man.
That said, women are far more well equipped to speak 'man-ese' than men are to decipher WomanSpeak. :) I've often invoked the analogy of computer operating systems to illustrate this.
Men are lumbering PC systems, whereas women are Mac based, robust and massively intuitive. Make sense?
A woman should get pretty much whatever she wants from her man, as long as it doesn't violate his core beliefs. I've never understood men who don't attempt to make this a reality.
Meanwhile, and for transparency-sake, I wanna include a personal bias/caveat.
If you've never been married AND never had kids, I will, by default, assume you're all about you. It's not fair of course, but it's my experience. That's not to say you and I wouldn't be a match made in Heaven, as I remain open minded. Just know that you'll come under more scrutiny.
