Date a soulmate from California, United States. Nice guy, kind, good friend, supportive, likes to be active and have fun. Passionate, romantic, sensual, caring (and looking for someone caring), and loyal. I normally live on my 65 foot sailboat and love to sail whenever I have a chance. I'm not living on the boat, though, during July, but should be back in August. Talk about bad timing :-(. Looking forward to sailing out to sea and exploring exotic ports with the love of my life (or meet her there if she doesn't like to sail :-)).
I like to sail/travel in comfort. My boat is not much different than living in a good size condo in an ongoing earthquake (just kidding about the earthquake :-)). It has three cabins (bedrooms), including a spacious master cabin, a nice big galley (kitchen), 32 inch flat screen TV, nice sound system, two heads (bathrooms) with showers and one full size bathtub, full size washer/dryer, running water, etc.. It doesn't have a hot tub or a dishwasher, but I'm planning to get those someday too. :-)
Also, I want to be clear that I don't live on a boat because I need to. I'm comfortable financially, I own a house, in addition to the boat, that I currently rent out, have a decent income, work for a large stable company, have good job security, and have good investments. I live on my boat because it's been my dream ever since I first started sailing in my 20s. I can't tell you how much I enjoy the life aboard, but I don't deny that I might just be going through a phase (we're still allowed to go through phases as we get older, aren't we? :-)). I have lots of really good friends, many who also live aboard their boats, and we form a fun and happy community with an active social life. I really like entertaining on my boat.
Note, I've generally been very athletic, particularly running, most of my life until my marriage started going South a few years ago. Sadly, my physique also started heading that direction, but I'm well on my way back ever since my marriage ended. I'm a member of a health club and work out there several times a week. The picture of me wearing the green flowery shirt is about 6 months old and shows me at my worst, but things have improved a lot since then. The picture of me on my boat wearing the yellow shirt is about 4 years old. The picture where I'm wearing the mariner's survival suit is about 2 years old, but who cares, right? :-)
Rick
Meet someone special from California, United States. Most of what I could write would seem silly in such a format as this. I already am feeling the process to be intrusive with their personal questions. I feel
confident in saying that I am a decent human being.
And I certainly believe in "Live and let live", or, as
Thomas Jefferson said: A person has the right to do as they wish, as long as they do not interfere with the rights of others - I paraphrased his meaning as
closely as I could. Forgive me if I misquoted you too
egregiously, Mr. Jefferson.
