Meet someone special from California, United States. I'm very tall, in great shape, and I don't think too horribly bad looking. The pictures are very current (May, 2011 with two from 2010). Please don't read too much into all the art prints and statuary. I just love Renaissance art, which most of my prints are. Or read too much into the couch because I'm no couch potato. I had to put myself somewhere because I'm reduced to using the self-mode on my camera, and smiling (or a reasonable facsimile of it) when staring into a lens and a blinking red countdown light results in the absurdities you see. I'm very intellectual, but I don't mean that pretentiously. I do read a heck of a lot, to put it mildly, about all sorts of subjects: history, religion, psychology, science, and more. I'm rather a deep reservoir of all kinds of knowledge, none of which I would necessarily expect you to enjoy, nor would I force it upon you or bore you with it. I could go on and on about Roman history, an obsession of mine. Now, really, you don't want to hear more than three minutes of that, and that's just fine. Those are a few of my Roman coins, and the charming little irregularities and edge cracks are because a die was struck by hand into a "flan" of hot metal, imprinting the image. (See, you've already had enough, and your eyes are glazing over). What do I want? Well, I'd like someone who'd like to go to a Peter Noone concert, or just get in the truck with me and just take off who knows where. Movies are a great love of mine, of all genres as long as they're good. I especially like so-called indie films: have you seen World's Greatest Dad with Robin Williams? Superb dark comedy. As to what attracts me physically, I really have no preferences as to hair color, race, height, and so on, though I would like her to be height/weight proportionate (as the phrase goes!). I'm not really looking for a lady much younger than I am, and in fact a few years older is just fine and dandy. I'm looking for what I call "cute" (if that word can be used by an old goat like me) and that is really an inexplicable thing, the proverbial "chemistry" thing that is so elusive (and can be very illusory!). It doesn't mean beautiful or gorgeous as those terms are generally meant to connote. Well, enough of all this! I see your eyes glazing over.
