I enjoy the outdoors and indoors about the same depending on my mood. I am not the guy you will see at the club or chasing the bar scene. I am a sports fan but not a fanatic! I played football in college and am pretty athletic so it drives me crazy to hear people (who obviously can't finish a push up) talk about everything that some professional athlete is doing wrong! 1. I'm very close to my siblings (although most are in Ohio) and I plan on having a family someday. If you do not want to have children, I'm not the person for you.
2. I'm very connected to my Catholic faith (I run a youth program at my parish). My match doesn't need to be...but it'd be nice to have someone to go to mass with me.
3. I love Ohio State Football. I like thinking about it, talking about it and watching it. So, Saturdays during the season, you'll know what I'll be watching. Wanna join me?
4. I bought a juicer a few months back and use it everyday. I'm actually pretty proud of the fact that I've been dedicated to using it. It's been a great conduit to get me eating healthier and thinking healthier. I've become much more conscience of what I'm putting in my body and hope to continue this lifestyle. I would hope healthy eating is an important aspect of my match's life too.
5. I have two old-school BMX bikes ('87 GT Performer and an '81 Mongoose Supergoose) and I alternately ride them to and from work a couple days a week. Some people may think it odd to see a 36 year old on bikes such as these...but I think it's awesome! So, I bike, hike and run to get/keep in shape. Physical activity and being in shape is a necessity for me and should be for my potential love interest as well.

I've been lucky enough to have had several different jobs and experiences throughout my life...from doing commercials when I was a little kid, to appraising real estate in high school, to teaching at a Spanish Immersion Camp in Bemidji, Minnesota during the summers, to coaching Women's High School Lacrosse in Bexley, Ohio right out of college, to packing my car up and driving out here with $327.52 in my pocket from Ohio, to walking 250 miles across Northern Spain. I work full time for an ecological consulting firm. I love my job because it allows me to spend time outdoors in forests, wetlands, grasslands and other beautiful communities. I also enjoy working in an office analyzing data and writing brief reports, especially when it is really windy outside.
I love craft beer and spend quite a bit of time seeking out ones that I haven't tried. My favorite styles include Belgium, amber, pale, and India pale ales, black lagers, porters, stouts, and barley wines, among others. Sacramento offers many great places to enjoy craft beer.
In the spring and summer, I get into SF Giants baseball. I like baseball for its pace, numbers and statistics, and history. I try to make it out to San Francisco for at least one game a year and to River Cats games in West Sac a few times each season.
