Online dating does freak me out, but i think it has great merit and know quite a few friends who have had succesful relationships and even marriages off it. I believe you need to keep your expectations low-lol and just let it flow from that first meeting. Ive always considered myself to be a normal guy, work hard, play hard, with long and short term goals and ambition. I put myself through college and law school; earned two engineering degrees, a "walk-on" to the football team in college, earned a scholarship and then signed as a free agent to a pro contract.
