Meet single man from California, United States. I grew up in Monterey and moved to Los Angeles for college and have been here ever since. And I make a living programming video games. These days my spare time goes towards various activities, from training for my next half-marathon (Disneyland half in September) to trying out random stuff (just started a beach volleyball class!). I had something about how I decided to come back to Match.com and try my hand again. I want to put myself out there and see where things go this time. I decided to change my profile since it was old and full of typos. It was really bad. I guess I have grown up a little.
I talked about me, even though it's not my favorite thing to do. I consider myself to be a quiet listener but my friends say I don't shut up. I say it depends on what we are talking about. I was born in Santa Monica and have lived here in LA all my life. Hollywood bores me to tears.. I don't wear my sisters skinny jeans and will never have a tattoo on my neck. I've been to most every continent, but want to travel more...it's more fun with someone you like and can explore with. Basically, I like being outside, whether that's surfing, swimming, snowboarding, or sailing...man that's a lot of -s- activities. Life is way too short. With that said, I'd love to get to know someone who's emotionally and physically READY for a possible long term relationship (LTR). This doesn't mean that I'm about to have a coronary, LOL. On the contrary, being given CPR is my favorite recreational activity. I am a proud full time single parent of a baby girl who brings a great deal of joy to my life. I always thought men who stepped up to be true fathers were considered desirable, but it seems some women nowadays won't give a guy the time of day if he has a child. I think if the most important thing you look for while browsing Match is "athletic and toned", you're probably not my type because I don't waste time on shallow women. I'm very active, I *have* to be to keep up with my little girl. After a recent minor health scare, I take my health very seriously. But I feel if a woman can't appreciate me while I'm still a little thick, she's probably too shallow to appreciate me for real when I'm slimmer. So what makes me ME? I'm laid back, don't do drama, and have MANNERS. Surprising in a guy, isn't it? I'm respectful, unless people give me a reason not to be, LOL. I'm no pushover either. I'm dominant when I need to be, and submissive when I like to be. ;-) I have a strong yet non-overbearing personality. I think open communication is one key to a lasting relationship, as are trust, respect, attention to detail, hard work, faithfulness, and HONESTY.
I do enjoy sports but not 24/7. Love watching the NFL live. I'm an Oakland Raiders fan, but I promise NOT an obnoxious one. A few close friends are actually 49ers fans. I also like baseball (A's, Giants), basketball (Chicago Bulls), and hockey (San Jose Sharks), as well as some of my hometown Baltimore teams. I *LOVE* Halloween and scary movies. . Hello all, my name is Mikey. I'm a laid-back kind of guy. I've always been mellow and anti-drama. I work as a manager for 2 restaurants. Dealing with ridiculous customers on a regular basis allows me to get all of the "dramatics" out of my system.
My weekend is Sunday/Monday. Because of that it is pretty difficult to get my friends to come out and play. Things I like to do on my free time include, but are not limited to: Sunday day games at the Big A (go halos), snowboarding in the winter, fishing, random trips to casinos (or Vegas), or just "chillin" with my friends with a case of beer and the BBQ going.. =)
I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with my degree in music. My emphasis was in music composition. I lived music for a good portion of my life. Unfortunately, not so much lately, but I plan on getting back on it as soon as time allows! I've had the opportunity to perform on many different stages and am extremely grateful for that! When I'm listening to music, I am either bumpin' hip-hop in my car or singing along to Tower of Power. Sometimes I'm blasting metal or nodding my head to jazz. It all depends on the mood.

. Ok so here is where I talk about my self I guess just moved here relocating to walnut creek for work. I enjoy long walks on the beach candle lit dinners, and nights in front of the fire place. Ok not really I do enjoy the beach and a good glass of wine at dinner time, I'm an avid sports fan. Always up for trying new things and new adventures like to find that person to enjoy them with. I have done some traveling and would like to do more. I work out 4-5 days a week but not a meat head by any means. Would like to find.
