My main focus right now is school, I spend a ton of time on homework and studying. I am on a mechanical engineering design team that is building a mini formula 1 car for chico state. I guess that would be my hobby. I actually started on the team just with knowledge from my engineering courses, and none really about cars. Iv'e learned a ton so far, it's a pretty interesting experience and I wish I could spend more time on it. Other than that I do a bunch of random stuff, sometimes I'll take my bow up towards forest ranch and practice a little bit, ride my mountain bike up an upper park, every now and then I cruise my long board, reading a Song of Ice and Fire series right now, etc. Oh yeah, backpacking is amazing but I can only go like once or twice a year, same with camping, those two are things I will never leave behind me.
Goals-
I want to get my degree in Mechanical Engineering (1 year left). I passed the EIT, a goal that was previously listed, so I am now a certified Engineer In Training. I hope to land a job in the automobile industry designing cars.
About me / thoughts-
I'm always honest. Caring. Kind. Friendly. Funny. Lot's of girls consider me a sweetheart. I'm a thinker. I'm very considerate of others. I'm totally happy doing what I do and letting others do as they do. I believe girls should be treated right, and I also believe a girl should treat her man right. I know that a relationship can't happen if both partners don't have a mutual connection between each other. I also know that a relationship needs to develop naturally if you expect anything to last, aka no rushing, these things take time.
Music-
My taste in music goes through cycles. Sometimes I listen primarily to rock, then sometimes rap, then soft rock, than country, then alternative. . . You get the point. I like all music, but I usually go from genre to genre over periods of time. Right now I'm in a transition from Eminem and such to rock and even some electronica. The radio in my car is usually always tuned to 106.7, right now at least.

Date single girl from Chico, United States. Most of my friends would describe me as easy going and quick to laugh, but I tend to be shy at first. I guess that's why I'm trying this out. I'm surrounded by students and my own teachers at work- and neither of those make a good option for dating. So my co-worker and I decided to give this a whirl and see what turns up!
I like to stay busy most of the time, I've always worked a lot and gone to school. Although there is something to be said for taking time out and relaxing, smelling the roses, listening to some music... whatever gets you going. For me that means hanging out with good people and good conversation, with some laughs too of course. I also like to kill time by crafting or testing out my artsy side, although I'm no where near Martha Stewart status. My favorite "at home" activity is cooking and entertaining. I love all sorts of food and I'm always trying to make something natural, healthy, and preferably from scratch. But I can only force my roommates to eat so much.
I've always thought if something was worth doing, you might as well do it with music playing. I can't stand too much silence. My music taste is pretty eclectic, my three favorites are Metallica, Dolly Parton, and The Black Keys. But what I probably listen to most is classic rock, reggae, indie rock, hip-hop and classic country. I could even listen to classical IF I had to.
I'm currently working my way through the Communication Studies Masters program at CSU, Chico and will hopefully end up teaching at a nearby community college. When I'm not at school I'm usually hanging out with friends, enjoying downtown Chico, or cooking up new things with my roommates. I like to go out, but couldn't be happier than watching the Giants game with a beer or watching Fight Club (my favorite movie) for the 1324th time.
