I have two amazing kids, which are the light of my life. They put a smile on my face every. Kids are a great gift form God...i'm so very blessed.
I enjoy walking the beach,BBQ,driving anywhere to sight see,laughing,being silly,joking,throwing a softball with my kid(Ihave a good arm lol),spending times with friends and family...So if u dont mind me just being me than your looking in the right spot... Watching a good movie action,drama,or yes a great chick flick. I have traveled some,but wish to extend my list. We have driven to the Grand Canyon,Big Bear for the weekend, did Disney world a few times. I have even done some traveling with just my sisters to Mexico city to climb the pyramids of Teotihuacan and row the the water canels of Xochimiclo...I have a huge bucket lists.....slowing but surly crossing it off!

Meet someone special from California, United States. Are you the kind of person to have a ton of friends that you hang out with, but don't discuss the more serious side of life? Or are you the kind of person that has a small group of friends, who can call you up randomly and talk about their sickly grandmother, their job stress, their goals in life? Me? I am the second.
That is not to say that I am always serious. In fact, I tend to like men that are a bit silly and take me on adventures I might be too chicken to do on my own. What I would like most in a partner is someone to share life with, to try new things, and to go exotic places that I might be a little too shy to go on my own. I am stable in my career,which I enjoy, and am financially independent, but want someone to share my free time with.
So, what are the things I would love a partner to share with me? I want to take kiteboarding lessons, even though the thought is a little frightening to me. I want to travel to Southeast Asia and South America and Australia, New Zealand, Africa! I want to get SCUBA certified this summer, and get better at rock climbing. I want to go camping and kayaking, take some cooking classes, go to art museums and movies.

I like to play sports not watch them. Wash my own car. Cook raw food desserts. Make my daughter laugh. Draw floorplans. Admire myself in the mirror. Ha. Kidding.
What else.... When I imagine the ideal relationship, I see a lot of genuine laughter, sharing as much as we can together because we love hanging out together. Imagine that. No more "I need my own thing and my own space" I want "I'll go with you; it'll be fun!"

. I'm a fun, outgoing person who is lucky to have lots of friends. I'm from the Midwest originally, and am one of those people who gets along with just about everyone, and is comfortable meeting new people. I'm often called a social butterfly. I am a wildlife biologist, and love the work I do, especially when it takes me outside. I'm happiest when I'm out in nature, whether it be on a hike, a walk on the beach, or a weekend camping trip. I consider myself a very well-rounded, easy-going, intelligent person with lots of interests and an open mind. I have degrees in French and Biology, and I minored in Art History. I also took two years of Italian, but sadly have never been to Italy. I'm definitely not your "typical" girl (I obviously think this is a good thing). As a biologist I am pretty used to wearing field clothes and lugging a backpack around and I like to dress up when the occasion calls for it.
A lot of things make me smile, including: dogs (they easily distract me), cherished friends, good food, the sound of the wind in pine trees, a gorgeous moonrise, endorphine rushes after working out at the gym, and general goofiness. I'm kind of obsessed with sparkly things. I've lived many places, including Chicago (where I went for undergrad), Tucson (grad school), France, and Israel. I am an NPR junkie and love The New York Times. I love speaking French. I've sung in a lot of choirs, and really miss doing that - I've been singing choral music since I was in junior high. I enjoy going to art museums and I love to hear live classical music. I do not own a t.v.! I will admit that my roommate does though, so I occasionally watch stuff...but always with friends.
Who I'm looking for...someone who is really smart and intellectually curious, is a people person, and who also loves the outdoors, i.e., you like to hike and go camping. A guy who is excited about learning new things and having new experiences. I do a lot of birdwatching (I'm trained as an avian biologist), so if you are interested in birding that would be cool. facts about me....i love my dog, aubrey, more than anything!!! most satisfying work moment....when my photography clients cry because they love their portraits so much!! singing and dancing with friends at home, doing karaoke, makes me smile on the inside and out for days!! a day at the beach or a simple walk always energizes my soul....there is nothing like fresh air!! cooking a big, sunday night dinner for family and friends is always the best way to end the weekend!! ....and i can't go a day without having a piece of dark chocolate!!!
i have traveled some, not nearly enough, and don't want to wait any longer to see the world...i have so many places that i am curious about, i sometimes wonder when my journey to check them off my list will begin...but if i had to choose a destination...anywhere warm tropical...far, far away with the clearest of waters....i can have my bikinis ready in two minutes for any warm excursion...
