Living in San Diego but born and raised in Ireland, My family still lives there, so I go back and visit almost every year, (the icing on the cake is when I get to pop over to Spain - one of my other favorite places) I always return to California feeling renewed and ready for what life has in store. I love catching up with friends over a glass of wine and just enjoying the company.
My interests are varied, I can't live without music, be it a live performance at a dive bar or to San Diego opera, I'm proud to say I've even been to a couple of concerts with my kids - great experience! So many things I still want to do. I want to see Bruce Springsteen LIVE!!! I want to go to The Kentucky Derby... I love the atmosphere at the races. I want to travel more and experience new cultures.I like to keep fit by running (when I can) and have ran a couple of half marathons. These photos show me in formal settings but I also love to be outdoors be it for a good hike or a walk along the ocean. I love to cook but mostly love just being in good company. I am attracted to someone with integrity, comfortable in their own skin, someone who can see the funny side when life gets too serious but most of all, someone who brings out the best in me (and I in him!). I am basically a dreamer but life has taught me to be realistic as well, so one will often come to the rescue of the other. I do try to keep a balance of the two. I lead a peaceful but joyful life (one that enriches my senses as well as my mind).
I choose my friends carefully yet I have learned that life doesn't always bring things or people to us exactly the way we expect them (or the way we have been conditioned to expect them) Sometimes something or someone totally unexpected and perhaps wonderfully unique may enter into our path and if our mind is too cluttered and we are not open or present at that moment to perceive, receive or act on this, we may miss out on what could potentially touch the depths of our being or at least open the way to a different, less ordinary way of existing or thinking.
