I am jack of all sports..master of none as they say, although running and hot yoga are my sanity. And, I do love shoes from flip flops to heels. I feel that I am successful in life which for me means the friends I have are true and diverse, my nieces and nephews actually want to hang out with me, I am respected in my profession and I wake up with a smile on my face as I am smart enough to be grateful for that which I have. I love to travel ...from the planning to execution to enjoyment, I love each phase. I am fortunate to carve out 2-3 weeks a year to explore anywhere whether it be North America, Europe or the Caribbean...I would love to explore South America. My passport has stamps from Australia, China, Korea, Japan so nothing is off the list. On any given weekend I could head out on a 8 mile walk with friends to dog beach and Pizza Port, or a wine tasting road trip, maybe an amazing dinner and live theatre or even game night...or a day which I take in a long run and then spend the day reading and gardening and yes I relish the rainy day which includes zippity doo dah.
Now on to you...you like being active whether it be running, walking, biking, surfing, tennis..just doing. You have friends who can count on you, you're generally pretty happy, quietly self assured and of course come with carry on "baggage" only as I say. You are confident and comfortable with others' success and be proud of your own accomplishments. You are comfortable in new situations and change may be a challenge but not an obstacle. I love spending time outdoors and being generally active in a variety of ways....hiking, walking, working out, playing recreational sports. I have an independent nature and a down to earth personality. I don't take myself too seriously...I can laugh at my imperfections. (and feel free to laugh too, but just be prepared for me to tease you right back!) I don't need expensive material things to be impressed...I tend to find simple everyday things in life very fulfilling. (Especially with someone I love). I enjoy things like camping and sitting around a fire at night looking up at the stars. I like hanging out at the beach with a picnic dinner and watching the sunset. Going on road trips to nowhere in particular, looking for new local hangouts and the road less traveled. (not so much the big tourist spots). . You will usually find me golfing at one of the local courses or riding down the coast on the weekends unless it is ski season, then I would be heading up to Tahoe or Mammoth for the weekend. A few years ago I took a 2 week vacation to ski the Austrian Alps. Now that is skiing! May try the Italian Dolomites next time. A day at the beach playing bocci ball or just relaxing is fun too, then I like walking to town to grab a slice of pizza and a glass of wine. To end a perfect day of fun would be cuddling on the couch watching a movie or a Charger game, wearing sweats and socks (yours if you are kind enough to let me borrow a pair). I love football and have been a Charger fan since 1994. I am a sports fan, both playing and watching, even golf! I love fine food and wine, yes a foodie. That could mean cooking dinner and picking up a nice bottle of wine or going out. An evening out putting on my little black dress and heels, holding your hand as we walk around town to select a spot for dinner. Having special time with my niece and nephews is important to me. I love kids and am family based.
I am not into drama, love to laugh. I prefer straight forward communication, resolving issues quickly, asking for and accepting forgiveness (with a hug and kiss). I am affectionate. PDA's are great!
