I love to remodel houses and have in the past "flipped" a few fixer uppers well before the craze began.
I have 2 children in college, a sixteen year old daughter who lives with me and a 14 year old son that now lives in Bakersfield but comes to visit as often as is possible. When he is here on the weekends my time is dedicated to him. You are welcome to come along but there will be no complaining about getting dirty, breaking a nail or having to pee in the bushes!!
I enjoy all of the usual stuff, walking on the beach, the mountains, romantic evenings watching TV while trying to convince the kids that is is really their turn to do the dishes, cleaning dirty toilets and especially unclogging my daughter's beautiful red hair from the shower drain!
I had better stop otherwise I'll have nothing else to talk about when I meet you!

Meet a soulmate from California, United States. I am first and foremost a Father to my boys. I work too much and am looking to cut back on that. I am confident in myself and am considered a rock by people who know me. But, I have a different side to me that not many people know. I am looking for someone to share with. I am a bit of an introvert, but am very affectionate and protective of my family.
I have lived in many places and never spent much time in one place until I was an adult, as my father was in the military. I like to travel but haven't had much time to do so as an adult. I am at that point in my life where I am looking to do some of the things I have wanted to do for a long time. But, I want to find the right person to share that with.
I am a very complex person and it takes a bit to get to know me, this is not so easy to write about myself. I am what most people would consider to be an A plus personality. I am a problem solver and can make quick decisions.
I am confident in myself and not posessive. I am extremely competitive and driven, but don't always have to win. I like to laugh and have fun. I am opinionated. I am the person friends and co-workers go to for advice and I feel good when I am able to help someone.

I fit into almost any situation, I am well read and have traveled much. I can dress in suit and tie or in shorts and a T shirt. I love sports and played Basketball and Football. Meet a man from California, United States. Okay...So there's this guy. One of billions in the world. One of millions in California. One of thousands in Visalia. One of dozens on his block.
So what's the possibility of me being any different from anyone of these other questionably fine gentlemen? Will rewriting this a half dozen times make any difference...really?
Could it be my Shake-A-Weight abs? Well that's doubtful and an improbability as the only time I've ever picked one up I shook it a few times then threw it down darting away giggling like a school girl.
Perhaps the fact that I'm a designer interests you. Careful! Most designers are introverts. I try my best not to be. It's more situational. Typically I can spontaneously talk to anybody except intriguing women. I suspect that’s why I’m here.
So I have been laying low and letting life take its course of late. I have subsequently discovered that working out of the house and my lack of player prowess has its disadvantages when it comes to meeting women. Turns out it's no easy feat acclimating to the single life in one's forties. However, one never knows when the moment will be right and that special person will suddenly appear... so I'm keeping my eyes open.
Today the planets aligned and a few lovely faces and well crafted profiles drew me in...so here I am...joining some words together, forming paragraphs just to introduce myself. I suspect there's many amazing women here who share similar values, interests, desires and goals as myself. I don't know...Perhaps I'm forcing the issue. Perhaps it would be a whole lot easier just to walk up to an intriguing woman and say " Hi, my name is Robert...."
