I've been on this site for a few months now and I know that there is a girl for me out there.
I just haven't found her yet.
What I can tell you is what are pretty big red flags to me..
Believe it or not, every blurb below is from different conversations I have had on Match in the last few months..
Me; " So how long have you been on Match?" You: "7 years"
Me; "So what attracted you to your last boyfriend?" You; "He said I was pretty"
You; "I just lost 160lbs" Me; "Oh my gosh, did you lose both legs at the waist?"
You;; " I would have smiled in my photo, but I am missing some teeth"
You: "My husband and I have an open relationship" Me; "Please stick with screwing his brother"
You; "So how long will we have to date before we get married?"
You: "It's not as contagious as people think" Me; "Sorry, but no feakin way!!!"
Believe me I am far from perfect. We all have our faults and baggage. I guess the key is to find someone whose shortcomings are a fit for yours.
I do believe that I am really just a normal, simple, honest guy who is trying his best to take care of his kids and do all of the right things.
In my life I have been in fast relationships and relationships that go very slowly. I try not to overanalyze that part and believe in just going with it. Heck, maybe it lasts 6 months. Maybe it lasts 20 years. Just go with it and enjoy life.
I enjoy a nice dinner out and a wallk along the river in Old Town Sac.
I enjoy having friends over to barbeque and a couple glasses of wine or beer over the fire pit.
I enjoy lazy Sundays with a big breakfast, laying in bed with a couple of movies and lots of cuddling.
I enjoy a jog or walk along the American River Parkway with a lunch in Folsom after.
I enjoy working out, running and martial arts (I have two brown belts.)
I enjoy camping, a weekend in Tahoe or pretty much anything involving water.
I enjoy getting up at 3am for a fishing trip (occasionaly)
I enjoy my life and know that I have it damn good and am very fortunate.

My home is on an acre and I have three chickens, three ducks, two Labs, a couple of fish and a little parrot that I have had for 24 years.
