I enjoy what I do and it provides me with a certain amount of freedom. I raised 3 great kids, my two son's are single and my daughter is married. I grew up in southern California just at the edge of the canyons leading to the beach in the San Fernando Valley. I have also lived in Colorado. My daughter lives in Grand Junction so I would like to visit GJ more often. I am a good driver and I love to drive. When I drive to Grand Junction I pass through Moab and that dramatically beautiful canyon land and would love to stop and spend some time exploring that area and taking pictures. Photography has always been something I enjoy.
I prefer a peaceful existence with as little drama as possible. Myself I don't watch much TV. There are a few shows I enjoy seeing and they are mostly on channels such as History2, Discover, TLC etc. I do like to watch movies, mostly instant streaming from Netflix. I am politically awake. It would be nice to find the kind of guy who likes to open your door and pull out your chair, that sounds really good to me.
I am caring, honest, trustworthy, intelligent and reliable. I am looking for a long term relationship that grows naturally as a result of spending time with somone who enjoys being with me as much as I enjoy being with them. I consider myself to be a young 57. I am totally healthy and take no medications. I do take nutritional suppliments and think they are important due to the GMO food we are exposed to and the depleted soils in which our crops are grown.
I work a lot right now since I don't have a significant other in my life that wants me to take time off to go play. I am an independent contractor which means I am in charge of my work hours. I don't have to ask anyone's permission to take some time off. I am able to keep up with most of my work when I am traveling as long as I have a good internet connection.
Some hobbies I enjoy or would enjoy doing more of are, bowling, gardening, dancing, playing cards, hiking, volleyball, taking pictures of nature, traveling, swimming, attending music events, car shows, muscle cars.

. Ugh...feel like I'm writing a school essay! Okay, here goes…I'm an intelligent, attractive, considerate, spunky, fun-loving petite woman who loves animals, traveling and outdoor activities. There, I think I covered most of it…and all in one sentence! Well, there is more to me…I'm down to earth and enjoy riding my harley and horses, yet look great when I play dress up! Grew up on the East Coast, but moved out west 25 years ago to enjoy the wide open spaces. I've always been athletic, and I now enjoy hiking/walking and working out. I’m mentally and financially stable, and would like to find a best friend who is the same, so we can go play together! I have always loved to travel, both locally and overseas, and would like to find someone who is intelligent and worldly as well…it’s always more fun when you have someone to share it with. A person who laughs easily, and tries to find the humor in any situation, as I do...I have a great smile, and like to use it! It would be great if you enjoyed riding motorcycles and/or horses, or would at least consider it, but it's not a 'must have' by any means. Someone who knows it's the company you're with more than the activity that makes a day special. Someone who is active, but has no problem just relaxing and watching old (or new!) movies at home. You would know that a good woman should be cherished and treated as such, just as a good man should also be treated. Chemistry is of course important, but you also need to be best friends…then you have synergy!
