ABOUT ME: Contrary to the above (LOL) I really am pretty easy going. I don't like anyone needy constantly hovering over me; I need my space and think you should have yours too. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love affection, giving and receiving, but I can't be smothered. I love a man in my life but have always been pretty independent. It's important that I see and talk to my girlfriends occasionally and have no intentions of giving them up. I want them to be your friends as well a mine. I can go from dressing up in a little black dress to a tank top and jeans. I do not golf (miniature, yes), play tennis (skinned my knee caps and still have scars), soccer, football, mud wrestle or scuba dive (tried it, went into panic mode). But I have zip lined in Costa Rica, hiked the Grand Canyon to Havasupi Falls and been up in a hot air balloon (no jumping from airplanes). I enjoy entertaining in my home. I am more "let's go for a ride and let the wind blow through our hair" kind of girl. Stopping for fish tacos along the coastline from San Diego to San Francisco; then heading up to Napa and Sonoma stopping at the wineries along the way. I love concerts; The Stones, Styx, REO, Foreigner, Journey, Kansas, Boston, The Guess Who, Tina Turner, Cher, Madonna, Eddie Money, the list goes on...(am not into Country music, even though cowboys in their wranglers can be pretty sexy; I'm more of a "wanna be biker girl".
My profession enables me to pretty much take off and go when I want. I am also pretty spontaneous. I'm not frugal, but don't blow money I don't have either. I work hard, own a lovely home, 2 cars and am comfortable. Will soon be spending a month in Italy (the trip of my lifetime). I do like to vacation (tropical being my favorite), and when at home like cooking on the grill and tossing a salad together, enjoy an occasional beer or wine and watch a movie. Would be wonderful to have someone who enjoys having coffee in the morning and romantic walks with in the evenings, someone to giggle with when I jump on your lap:) I enjoy live Theater, movies at the cinema, Happy Hour once a week if I can squeeze it in, and fast dancing. I am not overly glued to tv but watch a few programs. If it were possible to garden I would, as I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. I can camp if I had to but at this age prefer a nice lodge or resort. I am comfortable in my own skin, have my head on straight, and know what I want and don't want. I do know that it's impossible to find the perfect mate that we all wish for and that there are things you make concessions for.
Life just seems to fly by way too fast and I believe in having fun and enjoy doing things before it's too late. But we all know it's not as fun if you don't have someone compatible to share those adventures with. So let's meet for Happy Hour and you can tell me more about yourself. FYI... I have no intention of meeting someone from another state or moving. I love where I am and will soon be having the arrival of my first and only grandchild here.
