Creativity and imagination have always been the driving forces in my life, combined with a serious interest in changing the world for the better. But as serious as that commitment is my approach to life is often one of humor, levity and lightness. That's not only because that's what comes naturally but because making people feel happy and safe is the best way I've found to get them to open up to who they are and could be.
I've put this belief to the test in a romantic comedy musical novel (I know that sounds confusing, I'd be happy to explain), in stand-up comedy clubs in NY, in parenting two wonderful children who smile so much more than they frown (even the teenager), and in teaching students from high school on up to college as well as in my day to day life. So while I'm serious about looking for a serious relationship, I'm equally committed to having fun and laughing along the way.
I'd love to meet someone equally interested in laughing a lot, doing a lot and sharing a lot. Someone who wants to enjoy life and make life better for as many people as possible. Because as full as my life is I know that sharing something special with someone special makes it so much more special and life so much more full.

I am more comfortable with one on one conversation than writing about myself. I have lived in Boulder over 30 years. I love it here. I run pretty much every day of the year except for those days I go biking -- got into it a few years ago, and yes, I am very slow (especially by Boulder standards), but I have caught the bug. I just moved and had to give up my huge veggie (mostly tomato) garden --- something I really enjoyed. I look forward to hiking with my dogs (or for that matter, anything with my dogs), relaxing with a nice wine, good friends, laughter, and music. And then more laughter. I love going up to the mountains, spend a lot of time in Summit County.It is important to me that others see me as a good and honest person and a person of integrity, and a person who is an optimist.
